Description

The Bower’s Hideout is a great place to use as a base to explore the Mudgee region well known as a food and wine destination. The region also provides great opportunities to explore the national parks and take classic rural drives in the area. The Bower’s Hideout is freestanding, self contained studio type accommodation which has been recently renovated so it is fresh, clean and comfortable and has an quirky ‘Bower Bird’ theme. The hideout also has an en suite toilet and bathroom and is fully furnished so you can arrive, drop your bags and relax and if you need supplies there is a well stocked supermarket and liquor store just 2 minutes walk away. At night step outside and take in the million star view!

“Great place to stay!”

A lovely, peaceful cottage. Very blue & very cosy. Was just right for us after a long, hot day on the road. The host, Shawn was very welcoming & friendly.

Response from the owner Thanks for a great review Mark, glad you enjoyed your stay, welcome anytime. Regarding payment we accept paypal, bpay and direct deposit and prefer this than cash but with last minute bookings it is sometimes easier to take cash.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Shawn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
