Description

The magnificent Himalayan range, sunsets, serene surroundings and most importantly home cooked delicious food will have you wanting to stay on endlessly. Myoho is a home and not a hotel and has furnished 3 bedrooms with living rooms, 4 bathrooms, balconies, kitchen and plenty of land space for you to grow your own vegetables or just plain unwind...but being at a remote place and at a height of 7000 ft above sea level do remember to conserve water and carry your own personal toiletries and of course some woolens to keep you warm...

I don't live here, but I am accessible over the phone and email.

My caretaker Suresh (a very quiet soul) lives in the adjoining place and will always be around to help you and will look after you well. Talk to him and he'll open up to you and share small small things about the land, the legacy, the locals...

Other things to note -

Myoho is an inward journey...there is no television here, an old music system is working, carry your cds otherwise you'll be stranded with my collection. Please also know that there might be a thing or two non functional or under repair - for things are not so easily available like they are in big towns or cities.

The only way to get around in the hills could be by foot or by hiring a vehicle or driving down

Interaction with guest

There is a small rules/regulations note for you at the bungalow. Please ask the caretaker to show you how the geysers and the heaters work. Currently all the bathrooms have running hot water, however, in case some thing goes amiss - the caretaker will provide hot water buckets on request. Must climb stairs - It is a hill location and not suitable for differently abled people and or people with heart conditions

Please carry your own toiletries and amenities. Please conserve water. The bed and bath linen will be changed every 3 days. In case running hot water not available due to electricity cuts or equipment breakdown we will provide hot water in buckets. Please try avoiding smoking inside the rooms. Please plan your meals well in advance with the caretaker - for the bungalow is located in remote place and making arrangements takes time.

All of you were just like family, treating Myoho as your own home, overlooking small glitches that are a part of a remote location and focusing only on letting go the hustle-bustle of a big city. How do damage deposits work?
