Welcome to "The Nest" in Carmel Valley

"The Nest" is perfect for romantic getaways, authors, artists or perhaps a business person working on deadline.

An intrepid traveler might find peace in natures beauty surrounding our rustic hilltop Guest House, perched above the Carmel Valley.  "The Nest" may only be reached by climbing a path of stairs leading to this hilltop lair.

"The Nest" is located close to Garland Ranch Regional Park, with miles of hiking and equestrian trails traversing the Santa Lucia foothills. After your hike, you might find yourself wine-tasting in Carmel Valley or driving 10 minutes in to Carmel Beach and the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea. 

"The Nest" has a Great Room that serves as both living space and bedroom. Up to four guests may dine while looking over the valley. You might repose upon the day bed to watch TV or enjoy the fireplace or snuggle into the cozy queen bed to recharge for the next days adventures.

The kitchen offers a four burner stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. The full Bathroom has a tub / shower and vanity with sink and mirror. 

Parking is at the main house. "The Nest" may only be reached by climbing a path of stairs leading to this hilltop lair.

Your hosts, Jon and Charlotte live next door, down the hill. Your hosts have also provided the services of Coast Estate Real Property Management, Inc., a locally owned and operated company. Your Property Managers are available by cellular phone, text messaging and email during your visit.

We offer concierge service. can fill fridge prior to arrival, schedule, spa, golf, car anything you need. Rate depends on needs.

As a Sanitizer, it kills 99.99% of common bacteria, As a Virucide it kills 99.99% of viruses, ranging from Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2, Influenza A2, CV1 through 19, Ebola, HBV and HIV-1, Hepatitis C.

County of Monterey Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate # 001085

Monterey County Ordnance requires we collect Transient Occupancy Tax equal to 10.5% of rent. Some Vacation Rental websites do not support collection of T.O.T. In those cases, the Tax must be paid directly to Property Manager prior to or upon arrival for all Rentals shorter than 30 Days.

In order to maintain proper security for owners, guests and contractors, the exterior of this property has electronic surveillance equipment and the property owners may conduct monitoring and surveillance activities.

The deployment of electronic surveillance is limited to locations that do not violate the reasonable expectations

of privacy. Electronic surveillance shall not be implemented in situations where confidential or sensitive

information is likely to be recorded and distinguishable. Electronic surveillance shall not be installed inside

the home; however, doors to the exterior may be covered by electronic surveillance.

Monthly rental rates are discounted to reflect that guests booking reservations of more than 28 days are required to pay Gas, Electric and Water Utilities in addition to the quoted rental rate.

How do damage deposits work?
