Description
This Victorian house was built in the 1880's by my family and was a former post office in the 1960's. It has kept much of its charm and character with many original features remaining.
Spectacular views of Hengistbury Head, Stanpit Marsh and The Purbecks can be enjoyed from the back of the house.
For those who enjoy sailing, windsurfing etc there's a hot water shower in the brick shed so you can scrub while you admire the views!
Shallow tidal draft mooring available up to 16ft.
Wake up to stunning views as you lay in bed. Stroll along the footpath at the end of the garden by the water's edge. Walks to Avon Beach 15/20 mins, Christchurch Harbour Hotel 10mins, Christchurch Town Centre 30mins. Drive to the New Forest 15/20 mins. Walk to Hengistbury Head & Mudeford Sandbank via foot ferry.

Garden leads on to footpath overlooking harbour, house has all the little nautical touches, the owner went the extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable. Would highly recommend.

We are 4 friends who stayed at this lovely house. Sue left us several homemade foods and it really was a home from home with everything provided.We could have happily stayed for a lot longer.

“Highly recommend”
We had a truly delightful stay at 166 Stanpit Mudeford. Very comfortable clean well equipped house. Magnificent views wonderful local walks. We took a canoe which we were able to launch easily from the back garden. Sue was very welcoming, helpful and provided a welcoming hamper. Highly recommend
