Welcome to Sun, Sand, and Sunsets 706W at the Sunbird in gorgeous Panama City Beach Florida where the glistening white sand tickles your toes and a Pineapple Willy's cocktail tickles your nose.
Enjoy the beautiful beach with sand as soft as powdered sugar, panoramic ocean views, and the Gulf of Mexico's emerald waters from this 7th floor beachfront, 1 bedroom, 1 bath condominium where a vibrant colorful decor provides a whimsical yet peaceful beach escape. Just say "Take Me to the Beach!"
This is an “A” unit with the largest floor plan at Sunbird that comfortably accommodates a maximum of 4 guests and includes a set of complimentary beach chairs with your reservation from March 1st to October 31st. The spectacular beach view from your private balcony allows you to enjoy your morning coffee with the sunrise and your evening cocktails with the sunset.
Once inside the condo, you are in your very own oasis. Step out onto the private balcony to enjoy the gulf breeze & patiently wait for that beautiful sunset.
The complex consists of two separate buildings: an East building and West building which are separated by the main pool. Two smaller pools are located on the side of each building. 706W is located in the center of the West Building.
The Living Room provides stunning ocean views, a Queen Sleeper Sofa with upgraded gel memory foam mattress, two accent chairs, and a 60” screen TV. Secure Wi-Fi is provided.
The Bedroom provides a King Bed with pillowtop mattress, dresser, 2 nightstands, walk-in closet with iron & ironing board, 39” screen TV, alarm clock, and lamps with charging stations for your electronics.
In the Bathroom, you will find a tub/shower combo with plenty of towels (including 2 beach towels), hair dryer, and storage for your daily needs. An initial supply of toilet paper & paper towels is also provided.
The Kitchen has everything you need for your stay including full dinner silver and glassware service along with a toaster, coffee maker (Keurig & standard coffee maker), blender, pots/pans, and hand mixer. The new appliances include in-door service side-by-side refrigerator, smooth top stove, microwave, and dishwasher. In the Dining Area is a high-top glass table for four with ocean view.
Sunbird is a gated complex with security guards on duty during peak hours. The property includes three pools; East Tower, West Tower, and Main pool by the Clubhouse (the west pool is heated seasonally), charcoal grills, and picnic tables for outdoor dining. Common areas are monitored by video surveillance.
Sunbird is located next door to the famous Pineapple Willy’s with a private gated entrance at the West Tower just for Sunbird guests. Many restaurants, shops, golfing and attractions are within walking distance (Waffle House, Putt-Putt Golf, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Walmart, and Wonder Works just to name a few). Don’t forget to visit Pier Park just a short drive, Uber or Taxi ride away. Boasting more shops, restaurants, movie theater, and other attractions, Pier Park has so much to offer!
Upon check-in, an amenity package must be purchased at the main office. This includes a parking pass and one armband per person 12 years and older. The parking pass is $30 per stay and armbands are $6 per person per stay. (Parking is limited to one vehicle per condo). Prices are subject to change without notice. Please call the Sunbird to verify before your stay if concerned.

Failure to comply with the above and/or tampering with the Ring doorbell camera may result in eviction without refund and loss of damage deposit.

Response from the owner It is disappointing to hear you were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the unit since all our previous guests have been very pleased. The Sunbird complex is right on the beach and therefore, sand is unfortunately tracked everywhere, but our housekeeper does her best to prepare the unit for the next guests. As far as the cleanliness of the unit throughout the two weeks of your reservation, we do not provide cleaning services during the reservation unless arranged prior to your reservation which would incur an additional cost. You mentioned towels placed outside the door in the hallway and broken balcony chairs. Please note the hallway is a common area and we do not have control over what happens in the common areas. Your reservation was for two weeks, and we offered a complimentary linen exchange at no additional cost after your first week. You did take advantage of this complimentary linen exchange at which time the housekeeper picked up the towels left in the hallway. After inspection of the balcony chairs, we found one chair to have a crack which was promptly replaced. Regarding the pools, our advertisement clearly indicated the pool decking was under repair and the pools “may” be open by July 1st. Therefore, we stated the pools “may” be open by July 1st. However, one of the three pools was open in time for your arrival. Our advertisement also stated to compensate for the pool availability, we provided a set of complimentary beach lounge chairs with your reservation and hope you took advantage of the complimentary lounge chairs as previous guests found this to be a plus. In addition, due to the pool decking repair and pool availability room rates were listed at a reduced rate. As with any construction project, construction produces construction debris and progress is dependent on weather and supplies which we cannot control. Unfortunately, there was no other place to store the construction debris than in the parking area. We did file a claim for the damage deposit due to the damage found to the wainscoting and corner trim piece after your departure. The trim piece was pulled from the wall so much that the nails were exposed and posed a safety concern for the next guests arriving that same afternoon. For the safety of the next guests, it was necessary to arrange for the immediate repair. There were no other individuals in the unit after your departure other than the housekeeper. As a good faith gesture, the damage claim has been canceled.
