Description

Garden house is a lovely rental home that is part of a small villa built in a dominating position almost at the top of the rocky spur on which the town of Ravello stretches, sheer above the sea. It situated at a walkable distance of the town’s little centre and his highlights such as the stunning gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone , the Cathedral , etc

The house is spacious, quiet and comfortable

The real magic of the house is the 450sqm flat garden with a never-ending panorama of Ravello, of the coastline and of the surrounding few small, old towns and villages that are scattered along the green arena of Monti Lattari and the narrow Valle del Dragone ( a valley that separates Ravello from Scala ) , which have beautifully tended gardens and terraced fields and end at the sea.

The interiors are extremely airy and tastefully furnished with a mixture of traditional, elegant and modern fittings, all to an excellent criteria to offer all you need for great holidays.

Serene and peaceful, Garden house is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway or a small group seeking a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Amalfi Coast.

There are nature paths next to the house’s door, which allow guests to reach Amalfi or Minori on foot, starting from a point high up in the hills, suspended between the sky and the sea where Ravello is situated. If you like walking, these are walks not to be missed: at every step brief glimpses of breathtaking views open up in front of your eyes and these will become unforgettable memories that will stay in your heart after your holiday has ended

A car is not necessary here , the local bus service is excellent and is a cheap and a great way to get around the area if you don't want to drive. The SITA bus stop with a regular service to Amalfi is 10 minutes away from the house .

And if you do have a car , parking space is available , for a daily fee of 25 eur ( valet service included) , in a private parking lot, located at the edge of the town. Parking spaces must be reserved in advance

INTERNAL DESCRIPTION

Accommodation ( approx. 90 sq. m. indoor + 450 sq. m. outdoor ) : sleeps 4

Entrance is into a corridor. You will be able to enter the rooms from the corridor.

The first room on the left is a modern kitchen in the white and green colors which opens onto the wide private garden . The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking in. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cookers, an electric oven, a microwave oven ,a dishwasher, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a table seating 4 people and all the modern appliances.

The spacious living/dining room is furnished with two sofas seating 4 people, an air conditioning/heating unit, a dining table seating 6 people, a flat- screen Satellite Tv, an antique cupboard and a fireplace in a corner. This room is very airy and full of light thanks to a French door facing the garden.

The double bedroom is simply decorated with a modern silver chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe, a flat-screen TV( local channels) , an air conditioning/heating unit and a window opening onto the courtyard.

Then comes the bathroom with a full stall shower, a washbasin, a bidet, a toilet, an hairdryer and a small skylight.

The master bedroom is fully of light and airy featuring en -suite bathroom. It is tastefully furnished with some antique furniture (a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and a drawers), a flat- screen TV ( local channels) , an air-conditioning/heating unit and a window overlooking the greenery and the hills of the medieval village of Scala.

The en suite bathroom is modern and spacious, very well decorated with handmade majolica tiles in the white and green colors. It is equipped with a full stall shower, a bathtub, a washbasin, a bidet, a toilet, an hairdryer and a window.

Outside, the porch is shaded by an American vine pergola under which is arranged an outdoor dining area equipped with table and chairs for 6 people, a wicker sofa and 2 armchairs around a coffee table; then, the wide L-shaped garden , delimited by a hedge and adorned with some fruit trees, is equipped with sun loungers and a stone bench.

On a side of the garden, in a secluded position, is the outdoor shower and a barbecue.

There's a washing machine in an outdoor laundry near the house, and clothing lines for air-drying.
