“Casa Mulder” We loved Puerto Morelos, found the staff @Abbey Del Sol very professional and attentive. We give the staff 5 stars. Casa Mulder could use some attention. Dishwasher never worked and was not repairable although the staff tried. Furniture was not especially comfortable and the kitchen did not have a skillet that was non stick. Beds were comfortable showers had issues such as no hot water until the staff addressed. Property is for sale and it appears to be in need of some upgrades. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the village shopes, restaurants and people to be very friendly, a pleasure to visit. The reef is pristine and well worth taking one of the local guides for a visit. We used Wet Set and found them very friendly and helpful. Our favorite place to eat was John Greys Kitchen. We enjoyed several local restaurants, however John Greys was several cuts above the rest. We will return to Puerto Morelos and stay with Abbey Del Sol but probably use one of the other properties.

“My winter refuge” I spend the month of February at Abby del Sol and I feel like it is my home away from home. Comfortable apartment, great management and right around the corner from the beautiful beach. With a short walk to town to shops and restaurants, what's there not to love!!

“A week in paradise” I now know what paradise is like, having spent 7 days at Palma Real, Neville Gardners wonderful condo, facilities amazing, location truly wonderful. I Welcomed in the New Year & said goodbye to 2013, could not have done this in a better location: would I visit again yes off course I would, if u are thinking of renting this condo stop thinking go for it

“relaxing and enjoyable stay” Stay at ADS was perfect. Condo was light and spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the unit was well equipped with everything from housewares, cleaning supplies to beach towels. Located on the far northern edge of town and only a block and a half from a prime section of beach. A bit of a hike to town center but we used the free bicycles to get around. Staff were very helpful and a a good source of information on local attractions, snorkeling guides, etc. Highly recommended.

“Puerto Morelos studio condo” The studio condo in Puerto Morelos was clean and well equiped. The manager of the unit was friendly and helpful. We stayed for 10 days, preparing our own breakfast, eating our main meal in one of the many very good restaurants in town and having a small lunch or evening meal in the condo. The beach in Puerto Morelos is superb with snorkelling right off the beach, which is seldom crowded. We love coming back. The only drawback for the condo is the location right next to the busy and noisy road, the main route to the port and big resort north of town. There is another, slightly larger condo in the building that does not face onto the noisy street. Our finances determined the choice of the cheaper unit. The unit is not for physically challenged people as it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. That was not a problem for us.

“A Wonderful Family Christmas At the Casa Mae in Puerto Morelos” The Casa Mae provided all the amenities we required for our family of 9 which included the private pool, well equipped kitchen and lots of space for all. “Best place to stay in Puerto Morelos” The owners are fabulous. They have gone to a great deal of effort to make one's stay in Puerto Morelos as easy and enjoyable as possible. From the four-page document on their website detailing all the tips and tricks regarding passports, taxis, the airport, directions, money exchange, electrical outlets ATMs and airport transfer, to the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff at the front counter, they have taken care of everything. The condo-like rooms are well-kept and clean, with a beautiful view from just about every window. I could not recommend Abbey del Sol more highly.

“Little slice of paradise” Incredible food. Perfect beach. Professional, talented staff. Great house -- comfortable, classy and laid back, all at the same time. Me and a few friends rented the villa for four days in February, and we had not a single complaint. If you are looking for a low key beach vacation, away from crowds and hubbub, this is a wonderful spot to consider. I can't think of a single complaint. Oh, and the view from the SkyLounge -- exceptional.

“Everything we wanted on our vacation!” We have stayed in many motels and rentals in the Mayan Riviera over the past 16 years. Casa de los Viajeros is now at the top of our list. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, it was absolutely beautiful, sunny, quiet, clean and nice lite breezes. Located 1 1/2 blocks from the nicest beach and best snorkeling in the area. A short stroll (3 blocks) puts you in the town square with plenty to see and fabulous restaurants. Rob and Jonne are very friendly and can suggest things to do, see or places to dine. “Sweet Spot On The Mayan Riviera” We were thrilled when we first walked onto this rental property and we stayed thrilled through to the end of our stay. We liked it so much that we travelled back there the next year. The house was spotless, the caretakers were friendly and they went out of their way to help us out. The pool was definately our favorite feature, we loved the fact that it was all our own. The beach is just a hop, skip and a jump away and the nearest city is about a 15 minute car ride, which is close enough for dinner and shopping but far enough away to be quiet at night. The house is gorgeous and the a/c came in handy for sleeping. We rented a car and traveled to Mayan ruins during the day and relaxed poolside at night. We really couldn't have been happier with the place!
