For those who want to live to the rhythm of Mauritian life and meet local people, we welcome you to the Villa Lemon. Nestled by the river, close to the small fishing port of Golden Village Powder, our comfortable villa can accommodate 5 people (6 with child) in ideal conditions for a local color stay. New house, ground floor, bright and spacious: House 110 m2 + Veranda covered 70m2 on 1000 m2 of enclosed land with trees 300 meters from the sea 3 Bedrooms. Bedroom 1 Standard: Double Bed 2 people 150x190cm, wardrobe , air conditioning, fan, mosquito net standard Room 2: Double bed 2 people 150x200cm, shelf, cupboard, air conditioning, mosquito net small Bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds 90x190cm, air conditioning, fan. The lounge is open to a large covered veranda. house linens are provided. The villa is close Mauritian small grocery stores and public transport (50 meters) .All going to meet the fishermen (300 meters), you can buy fresh fish or lobsters themselves, for a barbecue with spicy flavors. Gold Powder is located in the northeast of the island, about 30 minutes from Port Louis and 15 minutes from Grand Bay. This small village is not a tourist place, but has retained the charm of its past. Poudre d'Or is also known for its famous monument "Paul and Virginia," but also for its proximity to two small islands: Ile d'Ambre and Ilot Goose discover with Big Blue Tour. “The perfect stay”
A fantastic holiday. To experience the charm and beauty of the Mauritian lifestyle, this is the place. Magna and her family were first rate, providing all the help we needed such as car rental, evening meals and a wonderful boat trip to nearby islands, including a fantastic barbecue. The villa, situated in the north gets the best weather, warm and mostly rain free. The beaches nearby are superb and as close to a picture postcard as you could get. The proximity of the nearby restaurants and supermarkets is so handy too. The villa garden has to be seen to be believed and for a bird lover it is exceptional. A wonderful holiday, a time to remember always. Thanks.
