Il bed and breakfast Le Pietre Ricce, accogliente e indipendente immobile in pietra locale recentemente ristrutturato, é situato nel caratteristico ambiente delle pietre ricce di Roccamontepiano (Chieti – Abruzzo - Italia) in Via Roma n° 131 – zona centro San Rocco, ai piedi del Parco Nazionale della Majella riconosciuto GeoParco Mondiale Unesco, ad un passo dalle piste da sci di Passo Lanciano e Maielletta ed é anche vicino alla costa del Mare Adriatico (Costa dei Trabocchi e Parco della Costa Teatina - spiagge di Pescara, Francavilla, Ortona, San Vito Chietino, ecc..). Il B and B non é lontano neanche dal Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga.
Si possono ospitare da 1 a 25 persone in 3 appartamenti comunicanti tra di loro oppure completamente distinti e indipendenti.
Ogni mattina vi attendono a colazione croissant, torte fatte in casa, frutta fresca ecc... Potrete inoltre richiedere la consegna in appartamento di pasti a base di specialità abruzzesi.
Si parte alla scoperta dei sentieri rurali del Parco Nazionale Majella riconosciuto GeoParco Mondiale Unesco, da percorrere a piedi, ciaspolando o in mountain bike. La partenza è a fianco al Bed and Breakfast ... la cosa è veramente comodissima. I percorsi sono di varia difficoltà e lunghezza, adatti per qualsiasi età. Se invece si ha voglia di sciare o fare trekking, con 10 o 15 minuti di auto si raggiungono le piste di PassoLanciano e Maielletta. Che ne dici di fare un pò di attività sportiva divertendoti ? Prezzo medio a persona: € 30,00 (comprensivo di pernotto, prima colazione, biancheria da letto e da bagno con i dovuti cambi, riscaldamento degli appartamenti, uso cucine, uso frigoriferi, uso forni ed altre attrezzature, uso lavatrici, uso barbecue e caminetto rustico con legna da cucina inclusa ecc..). Il prezzo potrà variare in funzione delle diverse stragioni. Possibilità di agevolazioni economiche per gruppi e/o permanenze prolungate, gratis per bambini fino a 2 anni di età.
Altri servizi inclusi nel prezzo: Tv in tutte le camere e nei soggiorni, cortile attrezzato anche con barbecue esterno, ampio terrazzo utilizzabile come solarium, ampio parcheggio per auto, camper ed autobus. Inoltre in questo locale é possibile navigare in Internet gratuitamente (h 24 in Wi-Fi). Non vi saranno spese aggiuntive di nessun tipo (resta escluso solo il noleggio bici ed il costo aggiuntivo per gli animali domestici). La struttura ricettiva al piano terra presenta 2 appartamenti privati di circa 75 metri quadri utili ognuno, comunicanti tra di loro oppure completamente distinti e indipendenti, ciascuno composto da:
2 camere private con possibilità di sistemazioni in letti singoli, doppi, matrimoniali, triple o quadruple;
1 bagno privato;
1 soggiorno-cucina privato attrezzato anche con caminetto rustico;
1 cortile esterno privato e recintato di circa 70 metri quadrati utili, attrezzato anche con barbecue, gazebo, tavoli, sedie, sdraio, ecc..
Al piano primo é posto un altro appartamento privato di circa 100 metri quadri utili, completamente distinto e indipendente, composto da:
4 camere private con possibilità di sistemazioni in letti singoli, doppi, matrimoniali, triple o quadruple;
1 bagno privato;
1 soggiorno-cucina privato e attrezzato;
1 terrazza-solarium esterna privata e recintata di circa 60 metri quadri utili, attrezzata anche con barbecue, ombrellone, tavoli, sedie, sdraio, ecc..
Roccamontepiano è situata a circa 20 km dal mare (Francavilla e Pescara), 10-15 km dalla montagna (Majella quota 2100 m.), 20 km da Chieti ed il suo comprensorio territoriale offre ampia possibilità scegliendo fra un turismo:
Naturale: flora e fauna nel Parco Nazionale della Majella, boschi secolari, calanchi, murelle, bocche, gole, grotte, acque sorgive, fiume Alento, tratturi, percorsi escursionistici, Montepiano, aree attrezzate, aree pic-nic e punti di vista panoramici.
Storico-Architettonico-Religioso: musei, teatri, pinacoteche, mostre, scavi e templi romani, siti archeologici, eremi (San Onofrio e San Bartolomeo), chiese (da visitare il santuario del Volto Santo e la reliquia di San Camillo De Lellis), abbazia medioevale di San Liberatore a Maiella, convento di San Francesco Caracciolo, torri, castelli, casolari, borghi storici, case di terra cruda e mura di San Pietro.
Artigianale: lavorazioni del ferro battuto, rame, ceramica, pietra della Maiella, tessuti e merletti, legno, vimini e le particolari pietre ricce di Roccamontepiano.
Eno-gastronomico: sagre itineranti con cucina tipica abruzzese, produzione di vini tra cui il delizioso Vino Cotto di Roccamontepiano.
Ricreativo estivo ed invernale: festa di San Rocco, fuochi di San Giovanni, lupo e serpi di San Domenico, bandaresi di San Urbano, notti di San Lorenzo, farchie di San Antonio, presepi viventi, balli tipici abruzzesi e rassegne musicali.

Si evidenzia che a piedi o a pochi kilometri di distanza dal B&B, si raggiungono molte trattorie, rosticcerie e ristoranti che preparano i tipici piatti della cucina abruzzese. Infine a piedi si raggiungono rapidamente anche bar, minimarket alimentare e macelleria.
