Description

The cottage is located on one of the most beautiful green hills of the Flemish Ardennes. The view over the city of Ronse and the hills of "Le Pays des Collines" in Wallonie is splendid. Here you can enjoy a calm and quiet surrounding without being isolated.

The location of the cottage is great to plan visits to beautiful cities like Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels, Oudenarde, Tournai and Lilles. Even Paris is relatively close.

We are very close to extremely famous cycling routes (Tour of Flanders).

The cottage received three stars from the Flemish department of tourism. The cottage also received the label Bike Friendly Resort .

Nearby there is the lovely chapel of Wittentak, that was elected as the most beautiful nature spot in Ronse.

In walking distance you can find the mill of Hotond, the highest spot of Flanders. From there you can enjoy a marvellous view from Ghent to Tournai.

There are several walking paths and mountain bike routes passing in front of the door, as well as a GR-route (Grande Randonnée = Long Distance Route) nearby.

The name of our cottage means in Spanish:” She who takes the sorrows away". We invite you to come and taste the wonderful and authentic energy of this more than 200 years old farmhouse. Children love it and call it the "Dwarfs' house".

Bedrooms:

All bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (size: 1m40x2m, and two beds 1m60 x2m) and a washbasin.

There is an extra one person bed in the hallway separated by a curtain.

Attention! The first floor (except for the bathroom) has at certain places a low ceiling and two rooms have an inclined floor. You can compare it with the cabin of a boat. Tall people must take care.

The first floor is therefore not suitable for disabled people. However it is possible to install a one persons

bed in the reading room downstairs.

Garden en veranda:

There are two lawns at the disposal of the guests, with garden furniture and BBQ

There are cherries, wild strawberries, grapes, figs in season.

The lavendula is beautiful during the summer.

In the winter nature is superb after a snowfall.

Parking:

There is enough space on the street to park several cars. Bycicles can be kept safely inside.

Accessibility:

The house is located on a steep hill, 5 min by car from the centre of Ronse.

There is a bus (belbus) at 5 min walking distance. The train station is on the route of the bus.

You can also take a taxi with taxi2station.

All big shops and a shopping centre (Match, Delhaize, Aldi, Lidl, Colruyt enz.) are within 5 minutes drive. There is a butcher within 10 min walk.
