Villa “Coucou Les Amis”, Capicciola, Pinarellu, Corse
You will find this splendid villa in Valle Longa in the village Capicciola, not far from the beautiful beach of Villata. It is a charming house, with splendid terraces and a veranda in a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool. There is a superb view from the dining room to the swimming pool and to the mountains around Capicciola and the Bavella mountain range. The area has a surface of 1177m ², the house has a surface of 174,34m ².
Capicciola is situated not far from the small seaside resort of Pinarellu, Sainte Lucie de Porto Vecchio is about 12 km and Porto Vecchio 15 km. The splendid bay of Villata is just a 8 minutes walk. This shallow bay, with its white sand and clear water, is very suited for young children. The beach has been divided in a part for naturists and a part for non-naturists.
The house is a very good spot for those who love watersports. The bay is ideal for windsurfing and a boat can be stationed in the bay.
The house is very comfortable and well equipped . The complete interior design has been done by the principles of modern traditional design. The complete house has been provided with an acoustic ceiling, bringing the sound to a very good level. All windows have steel sun protectors. The sliding doors in the bedrooms and the dining room are provided with pleating screen doors. The house has a heating and cooling system, which has been based on a “Pompe a Chaleur”. Warm or cold water is made on the basis of open air. The house is also equipped with wit a sollar collector. In the summer whole house will be cooled.
The main entrance is situated under a large awning on the North West side of the house. The head toilet and the meter cupboard are located in the spacious entrance.
The villa has a wide living room with a fireplace. It is a beautiful large high space with double sliding doors to a wooden terrace under a splendid veranda, with view on the nicely arranged garden. In the back of the garden you can see the bay of Pinarellu.
A small staircase leads from the living room to a very wide and high dining room. This dining room also has three sliding doors with an direct connection to a wooden terrace with a large dining table under a beautiful veranda. The dining room has an open connection with the splendidly arranged kitchen. On the large cooking island one can cook on gas. The kitchen is fully equipped. Next to the kitchen you will find the scullery, with a washing machine and a drier. In the utility room is a backdoor to the outside.
The villa has a special section for bedrooms. In this section there are 4 bedrooms. In each bedroom there are two beds and a wardrobe. The master bedroom has its own superbly equipped bathroom, with shower and double wash-hand basin
The general bathroom has a shower next to a large bath. In this section of the house is the second toilet and a room for instalations. All the sanitary fittings in both the bathrooms and in the toilets are of the design of Phillipe Starck. The tiles are all white glass mosaic.
In the garden a large swimming pool has been built with a dimension of 5 by10 meters and has a depth of 1,10m to 1,70m. In the swimming pool LED-lightning have been introduced. The pool can be covered with an automatic hydrodeck. By closing the hydrodeck, there will be no danger that your children will fall in the swimming pool. Around the swimming pool you will find some wooden deckchairs. The garden has been splendidly arranged.In early summer the white oleanders are in full bloom.
Three cars can be parked behind the sliding gate. The planted mulberries will give the car the necessary shade in the summer.
In Pinarellu there are many nice terraces at the seaside . Along the road to Sainte Lucie the Porto Vecchio one find a number of nice restaurants and pizzeria's. In Sainte Lucie the Porto Vecchio you will find the shops for your daily needs. There is a baker, a butcher, Spar supermarket, the Post office, a shop that sells papers, magazines etc. and a gas station. In Lecci you can visit 2 winegrowers, where you can taste and buy wine and other local products like olive oil and honey .
For all remaining supplies you must be in Porto Vecchio. Porto Vecchio is a sociable Corsican place. It has a splendid central square with a beautiful tree. Directly to this square, you will find the church. There are many restaurants and terraces. There are a lot of shops where regional products are being sold and Porto Vecchio has a number of very large hypermarkets. Here you will find many watersport activities.
The location of the villa offers excellent possibilities to explore Corsica. You can easily reach Porto Vecchio, Sartene and Bonifacio from where youcan go to Sardinia. The Col the Bavella, Zonza and the Parc Regional are at reachreaching as well as Solenzara and Corte. From Corte you can visit the splendid Castagniccia and the Restonica with the Lac the Melo. Corsica is a very special island… From this spot you can make a lot of trips.

“Sadly a terrible experience”

Response from the owner It is a pity that you have not had a positive experience of staying at our house, as all other guests have. It is also unfortunate that you call me aggressive and threatening, because this is not in my nature. After all, I have provided you with information for an entire evening. It is precisely our goal to keep our house in this beautiful place and enviroment, in a good condition and clean. I would like to respond to a number of your complaints: - There is WIFI in the house. The password is on the back of the router, as I had indicated to you several times - The oven is working. You can simply use the oven. In addition, the machnetron (although smaller) is also an oven. - The ceiling fans work, as you describe yourself. - The door of the dryer works and can be used as normal. The description at the dryer clearly states that it is necessary to wait 5 minutes before opening the door for safety reasons. - If the screen door was not in place, you could have replaced it with a simple click. - If you visit the house with 5 people, the beds will be made for 5 people and towels will be provided. That does not seem strange to us. - Our key manager himself inspected the house and found it to be clean as usual. - The manuals were up to date. The WIFI password of the new 1 week old router is on the back of it as indicated to you. - If you had scrolled through on television, as indicated to you, you would have come across many foreign channels. - Our manuals for the house are there to provide clarity. I am sorry if you see it in a different way. - You also left the house much too late, so that our cleaning lady ran out of time. - We immediately refunded your deposit the following day. In addition, I want to tell you again clearly that we do not give discounts on the rental amount. Things that are in our power are immediately resolved by us. It is a pity that you had a bad experience and holiday.
