Description

A lovely first floor 2 bedroom French Alps apartment, located just 100m from the historic town centre. The apartment is situated in the Jardin Des Neiges building which is a stone's throw away from the town centre yet secluded enough to benefit from peace and tranquility. The apartment is well maintained and sleeps 4-6 people. One is a double bedroom with french doors and great views and the second is bunk bedroom with full size single beds. The apartment has 1 bathroom and 2 wc's. The bathroom has a corner shower cubicle with a powerful shower water pressure for those aching bones.

The living area is bright and open plan with double doors opening out onto a large, south facing balcony with stunning mountain views. There is a large corner sofabed and dining area. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped and offers ample workspace, dishwasher, washing machine, combination oven/microwave and ceramic hob, toaster, kettle and slow cooker. The apartment has a flatscreen TV, Playstation with games, DVD player with DVDs and CDs. Books and games for all ages. The apartment has been designed to cater for families and offers the use of a highchair, travel cot and baby bath if required.

A guest book is provided which gives you information on the best places to visit, drink, dine, get ski hire etc.

The small private garage provides great storage for luggage, bikes, skis, climbing equipment... The apartments have a number of reserved parking spaces available to guests that are situated adjacent to the apartment blocks. In addition there are public spaces also available in the same car park.

“Great apartment”

Super apartment close to the centre of town and only 10 mins walk to the bottom of the telecabine. Warm and clean with everything needed for a ski break. Will stay again.

“Beautiful Apartment.”

This apartment was perfect for our family skiing holiday. Ideally located for a short walk to the historic village centre of Samoens where you can find a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. The gondola to the ski slopes is only a 5 minute walk or you can catch a free bus at the end of the road. The owner of the apartment was amazing and helped us with airport transfers, ski hire and was always available to answer any questions. The apartment was very clean, modern and contained everything you needed to make self catering a breeze. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to rent an apartment whilst visiting this amazing village and ski resort.A 5 star service from the owners offering a 5 star apartment to rent.

“Christmas in Samoens”

We have just returned from a fabulous break in the gorgeous alpine village of Samoens. The apartment is in a fantastic location, with bars and restaurants and take away places all within a couple of minutes walk. There is a Sherpa convenience store next door to the apartment buildings for everyday essentials. The apartment itself is lovely, very cosy and warm and had everything you could need for a break away. Fridge, hob, combi oven, tv, DVD player, wii, kettle and toaster, washing machine and dishwasher and even a slow cooker. Clean and fresh towels and bedding and a welcome pack of orange juice and bottle of wine. We even arrived to a little Christmas tree and string of decorations! The ski bus stop is across the road from the apartment and runs regularly and is free. We never waited for more than ten minutes. We hired skis from xtreme glisses at the bottom of the ski lift and along with rental they give you heated boot racks and ski lockers to put your skis and poles in at the end of the day. This proved really handy for us as a family. We enjoyed our week in the apartment and Samoens village so much we actually rebooked for in a few months whilst we were still there - in fact we didn’t want to come home! Thank you to Louise who responded promptly to all my questions and queries and made the whole booking process smooth and hassle free from start to finish. We even received a fantastic information pack prior to the start of our holiday with loads of tit bits and information that was really helpful. Thanks for a fantastic holiday and we can’t wait to return!

“Perfect Samoens base for mountain biking trip”

I stayed here with a friend for a 1 week mountain trip and the apartment provided a perfect base. Communication with the owners pre, during and post visit was excellent, they answered any questions very promptly. The apartment is very comfortable with all mod cons and an excellent shower, which was appreciated and the garage was perfect for storing our bikes and doing any tinkering we needed to do. The position of the apartment couldn't be better, a 2 min walk to the town centre and shops, restaurants and bars and a 4 min ride to the Telecabine Express. You can see the Telecabine from the balcony so if the weathers not so great you can see if it's running before venturing out! If I revisit Samoens in the future I would definitely stay here again.
