Terre di Orpiano is a converted farmstead nestled on a secluded height, surrounded on all sides by 35 acres of its own farmland with olive groves. It provides accommodation in four comfortable one and two bedrooms apartments.
The dominating position offers an enchanting sight from all sides on the soft rolling hills and overlooks the valley with the main town San Severino Marche with its medieval towers.
The relaxing and peaceful setting in an unspoilt environment is the ideal destination for nature lovers seeking a cosy retreat and a regenerating stay at direct contact with nature in an area of outstanding natural beauty with a colourful ever changing landscape.
The apartments - Alloro, Tamerici, Terrazza and Tramonto ,each with its own distinctive décor and furnishing, can sleep between two and four people. Three feature two bedrooms and are ideal for families or two couples travelling together. The other is a one-bedroom apartment with a cozy restored liberty style double bed and it is ideal for honeymoons or romantic couple's breaks.
All the apartments face the property's garden and the swimming pool.
Tamerici and Alloro have a covered portico, Tramonto has a private beautiful gazebo and Terrazza has a spacious terrace. Each of this outdoor areas is equipped with dining furniture, providing guests with the opportunity to enjoy drinks and meals outside.

Terre di Orpiano is a typical Marchigian farmhouse with the original structure dating back to the 19th century.The architecture of the house reminds the territory and the renovation works have been carried out with total respect to its history and in harmony with the surrounding nature: a countryside still marked by the age old practises of farming reminding us of a gradually vanishing culture which nevertheless is still preaserved in this corner of Italy.
The house features exposed beamed ceilings with tiles throughout and it is comfortably furnished with period pieces: a harmonious blend of rural and antique furniture and the functional convenience of modern infrastructure.
Tamerici, Terrazza, Alloro and Tramonto are the four apartments available at Terre di Orpiano for self-catering holidays: three are family size with two double bedrooms and one with a double bedroom is ideal for a couple. All the units have a private outdoor area equipped with garden furniture for dining outside and face the garden where the pool is located.

The pool, measuring 6m x 13m, is suitable for children with steps down into the shallow end. It is set on a landscaped garden bordered with lavender and ancient olive trees. You can relax with a full immersion in the nature, enjoying a picture postcard landscape with distant views over the hills.
A solar heated shower and sunloungers are available by the pool. Shade sails are also provided: they are excellent to block out harmful V rays, yet still allow cool breeze to pass through.
Terre di Orpiano is the ideal location for walking and hiking, with footpath starting from the property, for birdswatching ( there are hawks with nests nearby), mountainbiking (4 bikes are available for free rent in the property).
The garden and the pool area are lighted at night.
A gravelled area for parking is available by the house.

“Leuke locatie bij gezellig authentiek dorp. Fijn zwembad!”
Terre di Orpiano is een heerlijke plaats om vakantie te vieren. Lekker tot rust komen op het ruime domein van het landgoed, aan het zwembad of in de fijne accommodatie. De kamers zijn voorzien van alle gemakken. In het dorp kan je op het centrale plein of de markt heerlijke genieten van de Italian way of life. Er zijn een aantal leuke restaurants. In de omgeving zijn leuke, afwisselende uitstapjes te maken. Van Dino-park tot bezoek aan het strand.

“Peaceful location on top op a hill overlooking the San Severino valley”
We had a wonderful holiday at Terre di Orpiano last June with our family. The apartments are situated in an old house on top of one of the hills around San Severino Marche. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The apartments are fully equipped and from the terrace of our apartment we walked straight into the spacious garden. From there you have stunning views over San Severino and its surroundings. An other plus is the swimming pool. It is located just 30 metres from the apartments in the garden. We also enjoyed using one of the barbecues in the garden which you can use whenever you want. And if you'd like to take a bike to discover the (hilly) surroundings, bikes are at guests disposal. A perfect location for travellers with or without children. Around San Severino itself there are many small and pittoresque villages, just a short drive away.

“Excellent appartments in excellent scenery”
We stayed in the country house 'terre di orpiano'. The property is divided in 4 separate self-catered appartments which all have their own terrace. The garden and surroundings are just amazing! The house is on the top of a hill in the beautiful surroundings in inland Le Marche. You only see green hills (and the high mountains of Monti Sibilini when the sky is clear) and hear the sounds of nature. The garden is very spacious with a beautiful pool in the middle. The little town of San Severino Marche is just a 3 km drive away and is very lively (of course not at the middle of the day - you are in Italy!) An excellent place to visit the beautiful area. Absolutely not flooded with tourists so really with a local touch and feel. The beaches (sand as well as pebbles) are a 45 mins to 1 hour drive away. Or just a place to relax at the side of the pool, read a book and just do nothing. We really loved it!
