Description

Casale il Sauco is a beautiful renovated country house situated in the country and within 5 minutes drive to the sandy beaches and the village centre of Santa Maria di Castellabate with its shop, restaurants, bars and general amenities.

The apartment Libeccio is situated in the former barn and has a private entrance and outdoor patio area. The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine with living /dining area, flatscreen TV and a bathroom with large shower. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms: a double and a twin with a bathroom.

Beach lido arrangements for guests ( extra cost) approx 2 km from the property

The country house provides a comfortable location for your holiday and an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding local area: the medieval village of Castellabate an inhabited UNESCO heritage site, the neighbouring fishing harbour village of San Marco, small unspoilt villages in the Cilento hills, the Greek Temples and museum of Paestum, or better known tourist attractions along the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Naples, Caserta or Velia, Ascea, Acciaroli or Palinuro to the south further afield.

Ligea the waterfront fish restaurant in the village belongs to the property and guests can enjoy meals on the deck terrace waterfront

A car is recommended however if you enjoy walking the village centre and sandy beaches can be reached in a leisurely 25 minute walk. Buses from the village run a service to the neighbouring towns and Paestum and Pompei.
