“A magical place” This was my first visit to Corsica, and, because of the house and the village, I can't wait to come back! Yes, the beaches are fantastic - and it's a short trip down the mountain - but the "real" Corsica to me is Sant antonino and the beautiful house overlooking the world. On one side of the house is the terrace with views to both mountains and sea; on the other is the cobbled street through the charming village. There are many wonderful restaurants in the village, and a photo opportunity at every corner. What can I say about the perfection of the house? I had a magnificent bedroom with a bath, sitting room and private terrace - a Nespresso machine and electric kettle were set up, as they were for the other suites. I think 10 people could stay here in complete privacy, gathering by the pool or terrace. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a washer and dryer. The furnishings are exquisite including antiques and original art work, but still the house is cozy and quite comfortable. I am an american, from Sun Valley, Idaho, which I considerable one of the most beautiful places to live, but after my week at the de Mareuil home, I can't wait to return to Sant antonino. I have a ski chalet I rent myself in Sun Valley, so I am aware of the levels of amenities one finds with rentals - everything has been thought of here.

“A perfect haven on a stunning island” We spent 2 glorious weeks in this idyllic villa very close to the beaches yet in its own secluded spot with views over the hills and beyond. The villa is perfect for a family with many attractions nearby but great to get away from the hustle and bustle and escape to sit next to the pool when the coast gets busier. The villa was clean and well equipped like a true home and the owner, Christian kept the pool immaculate every day. We will no doubt visit again and would recommend it.
