La Boulaie
Is a self catering cottage with gardens and a private swimming pool (guest use only) - with excellent facilities it's just like home from home but being situated in the countryside in a small hamlet between Vernoil Le Fourrier and Parcay Les Pins it's easy to find yourself immerged in the relaxed French way of life. The cottage (gite) sits in a little hamlet just outside the villages with 2 bedrooms with kingsized beds (one en suite wet room), fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room and family bathroom. The lounge has a beautiful exposed beamed ceiling and enticing fireplace with a log burning fire. The settees in the living room pull out giving two additional king sized beds if required.
The cottage is within a short walking distance of Parcay for fresh baked bread from the Boulangerie, tabacs (bar/cafe) and has a convenience store for any items you may have forgotten. Whilst in the village of Vernoil you will find a pharmacy, vets (English speaking), butchers, bakery, hairdressers, tabacs and larger supermarket. For a more vibrant night life, Saumur is within easy driving distance for a superb choice of restaurants, local markets and shops you would expect to find in a busy town centre.

“Rural France”
A fabulous Gite, well furnished and equipped set in a large garden and with a lovely swimming pool. The local area is beautiful and lots of small towns with markets, cafes and chateaus to visit

“Idyllic country retreat”
A lovely spacious house enjoyed by a family of 4 during August 2020. Well placed within the Loire Valley to explore markets, towns, wineries and chateaus within a 30 minute drive. Our boys enjoyed the parcour (Go Ape) near Brion and the lake beach with a wipe out assault course just beyond Rille. Us adults enjoyed the wine shop in Bourgueil. The restaurant/bar/tabac in the village is run by an English couple.

“A well positioned cottage - ideal for lots of fabulous cycling on virtually car free roads!”
We had a great 2 weeks - easy to find and pre arrival information was helpful without being intrusive. Darren, the caretaker, was easy to contact on arrival and was friendly and helpful. The gite has everything you need and is near a lovely bakers. We loved the market at Langeais and fell in love with the town too, I wish it had been nearer! We did lots of cycling and loved the cycle friendly roads. Bourgeuil was pretty too as was the chateau at Azay le Rideau. The pool was great to dip into every night after a long cycle. We will be back to this area most definitely - Loved it!
