“super place” We spent a lovely week here in the summer. The house was beautiful, and full of character...only complaint was the shower in the en-suite was miniscule, and the shower curtain would stick to your legs if you took a shower! The kids loved the barn...and so did the parents! Lots of things to do, pool, badminton, table tennis, trampoline, darts etc even when it was raining. Beautiful cake was made for us on arrival...yum! All in all it was a great place to return home to, when we had a day sight seeing or shopping! Little patio at the back is a real sun trap in the morning, and we sat at the front in the afternoon. The owners were really friendly, yet give you your privacy which was really appreciated!

“Didnt stay in this building ...” Gor the dairy instead so people who had booked didnt have to move out & back in. Very lovely people & dog, Molly on working farm in very quiet area. Barn owl flew over car on approach to house. So cosy & had everything we needed for weekend break. One place I would go back to & not just for homemade cake on arrival. Did find farm hard to find due to lack of lighting on road through but no real problem

“Excellent holiday cottage” This is a beautiful cottage, lovely decor and facilities. Lovely to have a choice of outdoor eating areas, too. All on one level so perfect for families. The owners were friendly and helpful. We recommend visiting acton Burnell castle, just a few minutes walk from the cottage. A perfect spot for a picnic or walk. We loved the cottage and the area - a lovely holiday,

“wonderful country retreat” The Old Dairy is a fantastic country holiday retreat. You can walk for miles and miles without even getting in your car,,, our dogs loved it. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable, warm and inviting. We spent our days walking our dogs, coming back, lighting the fire, making dinner and cozying up in front of the fire and a DVD. It was our idea of heaven for our Xmas break. No stress and wonderful hosts,

“Peace and solitude” Perfectly equipped and proportioned holiday let for two people. Tucked away in the middle of the Shropshire countryside it feels remote and isolated, but is only a short drive from a couple of villages with a choice of decent pubs nearby. Well placed for access to the Long Mynd, Stiperstones, and Wenlock Edge, it makes a good base for a walking holiday. If you are looking for some quiet down-time then this is the place to stay, but be prepared to wash your car at the end of the week - the local lanes get very muddy from the farm traffic!

“Peaceful relaxing location away from all the hustle and bustle.” The owners were nice and friendly and very helpful if you wanted to know anything about the surrounding areas and where to do sightseeing and places of interest to visit. The only drawback is that there was no shops nearby if you wanted to buy a newspaper or run out of milk or bread. Bridgenorth is the nearest town and it has some nice shops and tearooms.

Upper Battlefield house

“Fantastic stay with a little bit of luxury” Myself and my girlfriend visited the callow lodge in sept for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised with the facilities both in the lodge and at the site. Being an adults only site was very good as the site was more relaxed and not packed out. Facilities within the lodge were very good and particularly the use of the private hot tub. The only downside I could possibly mention is the site didn't take credit/debit cards only cash which when they required £70 deposit + when we went out to eat at the on site restaurant which also required cash meant we required multiple trips out off site for cash.

KITE'S NEST, pet friendly, character holiday cottage, with a garden in

Aston Munslow house

  • 1 bedroom
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 2

“Peaceful retreat in lovely surroundings” Kite's Nest is a cosy, well equipped cottage. We found it to be very comfortable and in a lovely setting on the farm with peacocks, chickens and ducks visiting us daily. The cottage is in a very quiet rural location with walks available from the door step. The only downside for us was the very narrow roads from Church Stretton to the accommodation which we found a little too narrow for our liking. A beautiful area though and a really lovely little cottage.

There are some lovely touches like the kids playground, toys for kids, phone box with great maps and local info, and the owners are on hand if you need them. Would recommend to anyone wanting a real country break with luxury!

THE OLD SHEEP SHED, family friendly, luxury holiday cottage, with hot tub in
Highly recommended

We had a great time at the old sheep shed and it was perfect for my son who has mobility problems too. Not only is there a hot tub, pool table, and sauna for sole use, but also the kids can also enjoy Jimmys play barn and the indoor badminton court area with wooden play area which was a real hit for my boys. Will definitely be returning - wonderful place.see more

The cottage was ideal for our purposes: very well-appointed, clean and with excellent facilities, particularly in the kitchen. Very friendly hostess, who provided welcome fresh eggs. Only slight drawback is the situation down a narrow country lane - best approached from the South East rather than North West.see more
THE MILL HOUSE, spacious/luxury, in Alberbury
A fantastic holiday!

This property was immaculate and had everything you needed. We were lucky to have beautiful weather but had it been bad there was still plenty to do with a games room and badminton and the house was so big with 12 of us there it still seemed spacious and we had the added extra of the hot tub. Our family group ages ranged from 70s, 40s,20s, teens and an 8 year old and we all enjoyed it. The owners were helpful and there if you had any questions but left us to enjoy our holiday and because the house had everything we needed we really felt like we'd had a holiday. We would definately go again.see more
