Description

Our studio apartment is in an old, quiet street, just a few minutes from Split's Riva waterfront and Roman palace.

Perfect for sightseeing it has been sympathetically restored, but has all the modern conveniences, such as air-con & wi-fi - so is cool in summer, warm in winter - and, if you have your own laptop or smartphone, you can keep in touch over the web. Our large, private sun terrace gives space for eating or sunbathing and a vine covered courtyard is also generally available to guests.

Being a studio apartment you will find the king-sized bed and convertible sofa-bed in the same space, the sofa bed being suitable for one adult/teenager or two small children.. A cot for infants is available on request.

Just behind the apartment is Marjan, a tree covered hill offering superb views over Split, and which includes a six square kilometre conservation area for walking and biking, and also hides dozens of small coves ideal for swimming.

Getting around

The historic areas of Split, Bačvice beach, the Marjan Forest Park and Meštrović Gallery are all within easy walking distance of the apartment. Local bus No 12 from St Francis' Church goes to several beaches. Ferries to the islands and inter-city buses can all be reached on foot within a 10 minute walk.

The apartment is on the first floor, accessed by steps. The terrace is surrounded by rails, but the top of the steps is not gated, so children must be supervised at all times.
Loud music or disturbance between 8pm and 8am can result in your booking being terminated.
The apartment is not accessible by car, but paid and free parking is possible nearby.
Rental is on a self-catering basis.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Alistair (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
