A superb opportunity to stay in this charming Grade 2 listed self-catering cottage. It has a hot tub in a covered area overlooking the owners beautiful garden. It is for your exclusive use, and we ask you to be out of the hottub by 11.30. There is a wireless music system for you to enjoy your own music.It is attached to the owners own house (with separate entrance) and set in beautiful gardens. It is fully equipped and furnished to a very high standard that is in keeping with its traditional setting. It is set in a rare location,offering lovely immediate surroundings with the additional benefits of easy access to surrounding towns( Stratford Upon Avon 4 miles, Warwick 6 miles, Cotswolds 30 minutes drive).The cottage offers 1 double bedroom with views over owners garden, large lounge (with gas effect wood burner), kitchen and bathroom with shower. It is in an ideal setting for complete relaxation or for exploring beautiful Warwickshire and all it has to offer. A perfect break at any time of the year.
Perfect for those who appreciate delightful gardens (various National Trust properties nearby) and stunning countryside views. From the kitchen window, Roe deer can be seen roaming in Charlecote Park. There are many lovely walks from the doorstep, maps and advice are available at request. This is an Ideal location for experiencing all the cultural activities this area has to offer (Stratford upon Avon theatre is 5 miles away), all year round.

Fully redecorated in November 2016The cottage has a mix of contemporary and antique furniture, The Stables provides accomodation of this highest standard whilst maintaining home from home comforts which make it a unique place to stay. The kitchen is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, microwave, electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine. Additionally, there is a small table and chairs. Ironing facilities are provided, with a hoover available at request. There is an outdoor washing line for you to use to dry and washing.The well-equipped bathroom is tiled and includes a powerful Mira shower, with high quality towels and bath robes are provided. There is plenty of additional storage space available.The lounge area, comprising of a large 3-seater sofa-bed and an additional 2-seater sofa, enjoys lovely views over the attractive gardens. Additionally, the lounge accomodates a large dining table. A gas-effect log burner will provide warmth and cosiness during winter evenings. There is a large flat-screen TV with an extensive Sky Package and a DVD player that accompanies a good range of DVDs. There is a digital radio and a large selection of novels, local guides and maps are also available to our guests.The bedroom is furnished with a painted pine king sized bed. A high-quality mattress and bed linen will maximise comfort for guests, who can enjoy lovely views over the gardens without getting out of bed.Fresh eggs can be provided form our own chickens at request, and beautiful hand-tied bunches of flowers (grown and arranged by the owner) can be organised on arrival for special occasions. The hot tub is a wonderful addition to your stay at The Stables. It is for your personal use. It is a treat at any time of the year. Our guests love it, be it on a lazy summer evening or when it is cold and frosty . The lighting in the hot tub area, with the provision of a fridge to keep your wine chilled and a CD player and bluetooth to listen to your favourite music makes for a lovely romantic experience. There are very few restrictions on its use and there are no extra charge is made for its' use. We ask that it is not used after 11.30 pm. The cottage has small lawned area adjacent to property with a bench and small table. Sun loungers can be provided. There is a private parking area and safe storage for bikes can be provided. Nearest pub- Charlecote Pheasant Hotel 5 minutes walk and local pub in Hampton Lucy (5 minutes drive/20 minutes walk).Views from bedroom window over owners well established, beautiful garden and fields beyond

“The perfect stay ”
This place gave us an absolutely perfect weekend! We couldn't have wished for a better stay. The hosts were lovely and very helpful when we asked for assistance, and they kept our stay very private. The hot tub was the best we have ever been in and the speakers provided was a big plus! We've recommended to all our couple friends and will definitely be returning

“Lovely cottage and gardens”
We have nothing but praise for this cottage and amazing gardens. It was a very relaxing stay to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, Katriona and Rupert were very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely holiday home to friends and family. We definitely hope to return one day. Thank you for a lovely break.

“Stylish, comfortable and quiet cottage”
This was our third visit to this lovely cottage. It is furnished and decorated with good taste, and is very comfortable and quiet, yet handy for Stratford upon Avon and the M40.

“Highly recommend”
We had a wonderful six night stay at the Stables in late July. From the outset, communication was great and Katriona was very helpful when we needed to amend our original dates. The property is situated in a quiet and quaint hamlet, just a short stroll from Charlecote Park. It overlooks the owners beautiful gardens and is extremely well equipped for short or long stays. There are books galore, dvds to watch (as well as Sky to the delight of my husband) and lots of useful guides to the local area. We really appreciated the little extra touches such as shampoo in the shower room, fresh coffee, milk, tea and even a beautiful lemon cake. Katriona and Rupert were generous and kind hosts. As well as the use of the hot tub, they offered us the use of additional garden areas during the day and even gifted us fresh tomatoes and courgettes which were delicious. There are two pubs with outside seating within short walking distance, plus a National Trust cafe at Charlecote and a small cafe at the garden store along the road. Buses run every half an hour (every hour on sundays) and we enjoyed visits to Leamington in Spa, Stratford and Warwick. If you’re planning a trip to Leamington I’d highly recommend popping in to The Meat Room for locally sourced chicken, pork and beef - their products were amazing! It was wonderful to return to such a beautiful property after the bustle of the larger towns, sink into one of the two cosy sofas and then sleep in a fabulously comfortable bed. We feel very lucky that we spotted the property and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. Thank you Katriona and Rupert for everything that made our stay so wonderful.
