Description
Ideally located for someone looking for somewhere to stay for yoga or adventure sports or just enjoy places in Rishikesh. The accommodation is blessed with the nearby presence of temples (Kailash Ashram, Madhuban). Ram Jhoola/Swarg Ashram itself is at a 15-20 minute walk along the rive bank. All the local amenities (daily needs store, grocery shops, ATMs, pharmacy, medical clinics, eateries, stationery shop, etc) are within a stone's throw of the location. The accomodatiom is less than 100 meters away from the Kailash Gate square. Ideally located to get anywhere within Rishikesh especially easy to get to ashrams, yoga centres and rafting operators dotted in and around Muni-Ki-Reti, Ram/Luxman Jhoola and Tapovan. You can walk or catch local transport to get to any of these places easily from the accomodation. The guests will have access to the roof of the house that presents some really good views of the surrounding area (check the photos) - Gangaji, Ram Jhoola and Swarg Ashram.

It is a studio apartment available on the ground floor. The apartment is suitable for a family or a group of 3. 4th bed can be provided on extra charge. We (owners) live on the first floor and are at hand for any help. Both floors have separate entrances.
The house is located just before 'Shri Purnanand Intermediate School'. If you search for this school on google map you can check the relative distance from all the popular destinations in Rishikesh. The map on Tripadvisor shows the exact location of the house which can be checked on Google Map in relation to the school.
I am retired now but have close to three decades of experience of working in the Garhwal Tourism industry. I hope the guests can benefit from my local knowledge and I would be more than happy to make recommendations for Yoga, local scenic/religious sites, trekking routes and adventure sports such as water rafting and bungee jumping.
