“Complete Perfection” The house was perfect, spacious and comfortable. We had a great time as did all of our guests. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the broken blind in the sunroom which unfortunately left a direct line from another houses security light straight to the bed. Easy fix. We loved it and hope to come back next year!

“Unique and Secluded Tropical Island on the Texas Gulf Coast” We were looking for somewhere new to stay in Texas on the Gulf and were going to try Galveston, but luckily we found the Matagorda Dunes Condos on Matagorda Island before we made our reservations. I inquired about the condo and was pleasantly surprised by a phone call from a very friendly and professional owner who gave me information about Condos 1 and 2. We decided to give it a try because I was really impressed with the owner, Kim, and it was a great decision. The condo was super clean, and everything you could possibly need was supplied. The view from both decks was awesome and included the lagoon and the Gulf Coast. You could hear the sound of the waves day and night. The beach is only a few minutes away and it was clean and beautiful. The birds such as the pink Spoonbills, Seagulls, Egrets, and Pelicans could be seen not only from our deck on the lagoon, but also in many numbers on our drives up and down the beach. My husband and I are hesitant to recommend this place because we want to keep it all to ourselves, but that wouldnt be fair to anyone who has not visited this very unique and wonderful island. We cant say enough about how nice the owner Kim is. She was there from day one to all answer questions, and was basically 'on call' the whole time we were visiting there. A plus also were the three restaurants on the island, gift shops, and a grocery store only minutes away from the condos as well. Do yourself a big favor, contact Kim and stay at either of the condos at Matagorda Dunes. You wont regret it, in fact you will count the days until you can return.

“Perfect for us!” Beautiful home with ample space. Everything you needed was in the house. It had great views from the deck. Short walk to the beach. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. I will definitely rent again.

“Girls Weekend 2019” The cabin was great; off the beaten path but still close to town. We had someone in a leg brace, so the steep stairs were a bit of a challenge, but we survived. Only complaint(s); no coffee or cream & sugar for the coffee pot, and the oven really needs to be cleaned (it smoked us out the one time we tried to use it). But I would recommend this place to friends and family. And I hope to return one day.

“love love loved!!” This was a beautiful and comfortable stay!! The name suits it very well! Not only do you wake to the waves, but to fall asleep to them is even better!! I loved the simple walk to the beach and the convenience of the pool!! I must admit, being able to watch my husband and kids play on the beach while i watched from the bedroom balcony was by far my favorite!! Love love loved it!! Thanks cheryl!! “Great time except for Harvey” Our family stayed in Casa Caracol C. The condo was large and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. We had a great time. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Harvey. The owner, Roberto, came out to check on us and give us updates from the city regarding storm updates and evacuating. We ended up leaving early. If not for Harvey we were planning to extend our stay.
