Tofinho Beach Cottages is situated 560 km north of Maputo and 20km from the capital city of Inhambane and enjoys Tofinho's prime spot. Located right at Tofinho's main beach it takes less than 100 meters to experience the hot waters of the Mozambique Channel. The cottages is self catering and ideal for families and friends with each house served by a house-cleaner during day-time ….. no need for mom to make the beds, sweep the floors, or wash the dishes. During night time a guard is keeping an eye out so that your privacy and security is not compromised. The verandahs offers spectacular sea views and frequent sightings of dolphins and whales. Tofinho Beach Cottages are just far enough from the hustle-and-bustle of Tofo's main beach, but still within walking distance, either by road (some 1,5 km.) or a 30 minute stroll along the beach.

Getting around

We will arrange to collect you free of charge with a chapa (local taxi) from the airport if you booked at one of our cottages. If required they will stop on the way at recommended places for you to do your shopping, before dropping you off. At an additional fee, the chapa can take you to other areas close by or to Inhambane town.

Interaction with guest

Ricardo will look after you while staying at Tofonho Beach Cottages. He speaks Portuguese and English and knows the area very well to assist you with all your activities.
