Response from the owner Dear Guest, Please accept our humblest apologies for the many mishaps that seem to have occurred during your stay with us. We take much pride in taking every conceivable step to ensure that your holiday in Mirissa is perfect and clearly we fell far short on this occasion. The damage to the pool was noticed by us in December and the repair of which meant the pool would have to remain drained for a number of days. Since we were consistently booked up till your stay, we decided not to deprive any guests of our pool and to just inform them on arrival retarding the tiles. We are so sorry for any inconvenience caused to you due to this. I am happy to state that the tiles have been fixed at the time of this response. Please pardon the water pressure issue. As we are in a rural part of Sri Lanka, water provided by the municipality is not always up to satisfactory pressure. We have built our own rooftop tank in order to compensate and we are confident that this will solve the problem. And finally, we apologize about the issue with the rodents. It was clearly an oversight by our staff and we accept full responsibility. Steps have been taken to ensure that it will not happen again. Despite these shortcomings, we hope your stay in Mirissa was pleasurable and we wish you all the very best. Sincerely, Management.
