Accommodation:
Spacious yet cosy chalet, ideal for families or groups of friends.
3 twin rooms (beds are designed be pushed together if needed) and 1 mezzanine with 2 single beds.
2 Bathrooms.
Spacious lounge area with 2 sofa's, log fire, Dutch Satellite (many programs are in English with Dutch subtitles), TV, DVD, IPod dock and free Wi-Fi Internet.
The chalet has electric underfloor heating and wall heaters so is always nice and cosy.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering or in-house catering can be arranged.
Large ski lockers are situated next to the front door for safe storage of all equipment.
Facilities and services:
The chalet is sold on a self catered basis. If you would like catering please ask as we can arrange this for you.
Underground parking is offered subject to availability or there is open parking at the entrance to the park.
Bread and croissants can be delivered to your door every morning (winter only).
We offer a luggage service so there is no need to carry your bags to and from your chalet making your stay as relaxing as possible.
We can pre-order lift passes, equipment hire and arrange ski lessons or mountain bike guiding so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy your stay.
There is a bar/restaurant with large terrace in the chalet park with direct access to and from the piste, perfect for unwinding with a drink after a hard day on the slopes (winter only).

1 week prior to your arrival you will receive comprehensive details on check-in procedure, directions, booking forms for equipment, lift passes, activities etc.
On arrival you will go to the Alpine Essence Reception and will be met by a member of our team who will check you in, take a security deposit and show you to your chalet. We deliver your luggage to and from your chalet so there is no carrying heavy bags around.
There will be a 24hr emergency number you can call while you are staying with Alpine Essence and the reception will be open every day during the season except for Wednesdays.

Peisey Vallandry is a wonderful small resort based in Les Arcs, in the heart of the Paradiski area (one of the largest linked ski areas in the world), ideal for families, from beginners through to expert and everyone in-between!
You and your family will be able to access both Les Arcs and La Plagne using the Vanoise Express cable car in Vallandry. Peisey Vallandry is a great resort for beginners right up to the advanced snowboarders and skiers, with some World Class Freeride/Off Piste routes alongside some wide blue runs and exciting tree runs. As well as skiing there is a wealth of other things to do from swimming and spas, kids play, dog sleding, walking, snow shoeing and nordic skiing. Once you have finished your day on the piste there is a great selection of fun apres-ski bars and classic Savoyard restaurants to sample
This is definitely a resort you will want to come back too again and again.

“A dream chalet”
This was just what we wanted for our holiday, a living area with a view, a log fire and we even got falling snow! On arrival the chalet looked even better than the photos, much cosier and the furniture had been up-dated. The heated bathroom floors were so lovely! The owners had made a big effort with the decoration (Objet d'art) however some vegetarians or animal lovers may not like the animal skins and reference to reindeer horns/skulls on the walls! My only criticism is that few, if any, of the chalets have en-suite bathrooms. PVR were very friendly and helpful with luggage drop off, ordering bread and logs etc. There is a heavy fine schedule you have to sign, a bit intimidating and some demands for items are a bit petty, shame but I guess some guests have abused their stay over time. Also there is a charge for towels which I think should be included considering the cost of the rental. Overall a fantastic stay!

“Very comfortable chalet right next to the slopes”
Two families enjoyed our stay in chalet Doggenstein. The chalet has a very homely feel with good living spaces, nice bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The chalet also scores highly on our Helpful Hook Index (!) with lots of hooks to hang towels, salopettes, bags etc - a small but oft-overlooked detail! We had hoped to put some of the children in the mezzanine bedroom but, although it would have been perfectly safe to do so, it was very open (noise-wise) to the sitting area so would not have been restful for either party. We have stayed in PVR chalets before - admin and check in are very good and the bread and croissant service an excellent idea. The local pizzeria (Le Refuge) is excellent and we also had a nice couple of meals at !a Vache in Peisey. All in all, a very good chalet and we would definitely stay there again.
