A peaceful idyllic rural location, overlooking the breathtaking scenery of the river Barbate valley, La Breña y Las Marismas National Park and the hills of the World Heritage 'pueblo blanco' (whitewashed village) of Vejer de la Frontera . Perfect for the International Sunshine Tour o Circuito del Sol participants.
Within easy reach, there are long stretches of natural, unspoilt, sandy beaches, El Palmar,Conil, Bolonia,as well as villages with traditional Andalusian arts and crafts, fiestas, and restaurants serving fresh local produce.
A wide range of available activities include Golf, 4WD & quad-biking, horse riding and wildlife safaris in the Dehesa of Monteenmedio , water sports, the world famous horse shows, flamenco and sherry-tasting in Jerez, or a day-trip to Seville, Cadiz, Gibraltar or Morocco.
Within a short drive away there are also several other excellent golf courses such as Montenmedio, Sherry Golf Jerez, Novo Sancti Petri, San Roque & Benalup.

“Lovely peaceful and well appointed villa”

“Problematical”
The house is set in a rural location however a neighbour's nephew decided to hold a "rave" which lasted 20 hours from Saturday 6.00 pm evening until 2.00 pm Sunday afternoon. Not the owners fault who refunded a nights stay, but left us without sleep and anxious. The internet comes from the hot spot system in the next village. We couldn't get the signal at all on our MacBookPro, although other people might. Meant a daily trip of 5 km to the internet cafe. Hot water boiler tripped out a number of times. Master bedroom has two single beds pushed together. Could be better equipped, for example, a toaster would save having to kneel down on the kitchen floor to use the oven.

Response from the owner “Problematic Communication from the Guests” Had our guests notified us immediately about the party, instead of waiting till the following day (?), it would have been stopped at once, by the apologetic but absent neighbour, unaware of his nephew’s exploits. The party was a “one off “, taking place 300m away (!) from our house, we intervened as soon as we were told about it, and despite everything, we still refunded a night’s rent as a good will gesture. As for the toaster ... there was a toaster in a cupboard, (albeit of the fancier “flat grill” instead of the “pop-up” type) and the agent would have shown it, had the guests asked her. Our agent demonstrated to the guests internet connection from MS Windows. An aerial driver for Apple users with no CD-drive (never requested before), could have been installed on the guests’ computer by the internet supplier from the nearby village (at no cost). The villa has a 24/7 assistance to take care of any faults, with a 10-15 minutes response time ... on condition they are communicated to the agent.
