Description

The Lodge Verbier. It is nearly impossible to get more luxurious than Verbier in the Swiss Alps, and yet you can take it one step farther by booking your next ski holiday at The Lodge. This nine-bedroom chalet is located in the Medran area, just a short walk to Verbier Center and even closer to the main lift station, and it also happens to belong to Sir Richard Branson. Clearly, the property is all about premier skiing, but it is replete with world-class services and amenities as well.

With room for 18 adults along with a special bunkroom capable of sleeping six children or young adults, it allows you to arrive in style and savor every moment of your holiday. You can do this thanks to the attentive services of your amazing chef who will prepare daily breakfast, luncheon and four-course dinners six evenings of the week. You also enjoy afternoon tea and open bar. Daily housekeeping services as well as a chauffeur-driven vehicle throughout the resort are also part of your stay.

While the skiing and wonderful staff make your stay a joy, even more amazing are the many features within the property itself. Designed with a flawless blend of lodge and chalet elements, the property features a fully-equipped ski room, an enormous indoor pool and hot tub, modern fitness center, spa treatment rooms, hammam, games room with bar and pool table, wine cellar, party room with a disco, state of the art cinema, and full array of balconies offering comfortable outdoor living spaces - including a Jacuzzi on the terrace.

There are also wonderful gathering spaces such as the lounges, each with fireplaces and oversized sofas. The great room promises hours of relaxation by the fire and gazing out to the views. The formal dining room and gourmet kitchen are a treat as well, but each bedroom is also a destination. Located between the second and fourth floors they feature king beds or bunks, luxurious baths, many have sitting areas and balconies as well as two with fireplaces.

Further details indoors

The Lodge, Sir Richard Branson's Mountain Retreat is located in Verbier, Switzerland. Perched high in the Swiss Alps in a forested area, The Lodge is just a five minute walk from the town of Verbier, and only 250m from the main lift station. The chalet is 1,200m2 in total split over five floors all connected by an elevator. With nine spacious, beautifully designed bedrooms including two Master Suites, The Lodge can accommodate up to 18 guests plus an additional six children in the especially designed Bunkroom.

When the weather is glorious it's more than likely you'll be spending plenty of time on the mountain, but when you get back to The Lodge there's still plenty to do! Pull off those hiking boots and relax in the lounge with a cool drink curled up on a comfy sofa. Or if your muscles ache, take a dip in the indoor heated pool, or warm yourself up in the indoor or outdoor Jacuzzis.

The Lodge also has a fully equipped gym, a steam room and a party area. You can shoot some pool or dance the night away all underneath a twinkling disco ball. If you want to take it easy we can pop on a film for you and your friends or family on the large plasma screen (we've got a great selection of DVDs) while you enjoy a few drinks from the bar.

The food served at The Lodge is one of the highlights of your stay, and we serve a mix of Swiss and international cuisine. Dining can be as formal or informal as you wish, from full four-course gourmet meals to healthy meals with the children. Meals can be themed, traditional or a mix! Ask us for some ideas or give us yours. We also stock a great range of international wines, top quality spirits, international beers and excellent house champagne.

Partying at The Lodge is a serious business! The bar never closes, and just when you think the party's peaked, the infamous shot ski' is likely to make an appearance you have been warned. The party room also features a pool table that transforms into a ping pong (or beer pong) table and there's even a disco ball so you can relive those Saturday Night Fever moments while you enjoy a few drinks from the bar.

After an active day on the mountains there's a good chance your muscles will be aching after all that effort. Relax and unwind with a treatment in the capable hands of our resident beauty therapist. We use products from YonKa and Aromatherapy Associates. Treatments are charged additionally - for a full list please contact us.
