Description

Substantial, detached property in a peaceful and tranquil woodland setting on the Jurassic coast in Dorset. Wi-Fi and pet friendly. Sleeps 24 with 5 bedrooms and 5 en-suites.

The ground floor comprises: Large hallway which accommodates both a pool and football table. A generous lounge with plenty of seating including a double sofa bed. Spacious open-plan kitchen and designated dining area with a table and chairs and a patio door leading to the garden. The fully equipped kitchen includes cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Another dining area leads off that has a wood/coal burning stove and patio door to the garden. The separate utility room is equipped with a washing machine and side door to the garden. Bedroom 1 has 1 x double bed, 1 x adult bunk bed, 1 x en-suite shower room and patio door to access the garden. Bedroom 2 has 1 x double bed, 1 x adult size bunk bed and 1 x en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 has 1 x double bed and 1 x en-suite shower room.

The first floor comprises: Bedroom 4 which has 1 x king size bed, 4 x single beds, 1 x single pull-out bed and 1 x en-suite shower room. Bedroom 5 has 1 x king size bed, 3 x single beds and 1 x en-suite bathroom.

The large enclosed garden has a decked area, furnished with plenty of tables and chairs, sun loungers, gas BBQ and hot tub. At the front of the property, the private drive offers parking for 10 cars.

The Lodge has access to 3 acres of meadow which is a large open laid to lawn space, equipped with a giant chess and draughts set, football goal posts and both badminton and basketball nets, where all guests can enjoy outdoor activities on their doorstep! Al fresco table tennis facilities are also available, weather permitting. A limited number of bicycles can be hired for those wishing to explore the best of the Jurassic coast and beyond on two wheels.

“Excellent accommodation”

quiet countryside location, access to many and varied amenities - still a number to enjoy. Accommodation - cleanliness of the kitchen area much appreciated by all; garden activities, hot tub, pool table - a bonus for children and adults. Rooms quiet (ie interior sound insulation - good). only negative comment - flies in the kitchen, constant problem during week. Smart TV would be good so that children can watch films in the evening. We hope to visit again next year!
