Description

This charming cottage, which sleeps two and is perfect for couples, and is very convenient for walking into Warkworth village.

Everything is well furnished and decorated. A bottle of chilled wine will welcome you to The Cottage.

The cottage is all on one level, with one double bedroom with king side bed, living area and small kitchen, and bathroom. The living area is open plan with one separate bedroom. Please bring your own towels as these are not provided. The bathroom has a corner bath and separate shower enclosure.

The gas central heating the cottage is warm and cosy in cold weather.

There is a Smart television with Freeview and Netflix and DVD player. A mini-HiFi system is also supplied for CDs and radio.

Secure parking is directly beside the cottage with a designated parking area.

Short Breaks Friday and Monday. One Well behaved dog welcome, £25 per stay, by prior arrangement only.

Getting around

Amble'The Seafood Centre' is only 1 mile away, where you can shop, eat, and browse around. Alnwick the historical market town is 7 miles away. Trains can be taken from alnmouth station ( 3 miles away) to various destinations. Popular trips are south to Newcastle upon Tyne and north to Edinburgh. Newcastle airport is approx 30 miles.

Interaction with guest

We live across from the cottage at Coquet Meadows and are on hand should you have any problems during your stay. Washing machine is available (not enough room to locate in the cottage itself) in utility room opposite the cottage. Te cat to arrange access.

Please bring your own towels. One dog is welcome but please let us know prior to your stay, don't leave your dog in the cottage alone or allowed your dog to jump on any of the furniture, please clean up any mess outside in the garden and keep your dog on the lead. Pet fee is payable £25 per week and £15 per short break. Access to the cottage may be required during your stay and we reserve the right to undertake any duties that may be required.

“Really Nice Location”

Just spent a week relaxing in Warkworth , great location with easy access to Warkworth , Amble and the beaches. Had a relaxing time and the owner was really nice making sure we enjoyed or short break. House great for a couple with a large dog. Masons Arms great for pub food and plenty of other reds within walking distance I either Warkworth or Emble. Would definitely recommend accommodation and location.

“Peaceful, cosy cottage”

Very comfortable cottage, really peaceful setting and only few minutes walk from village centre. We love Warkworth and have visited several times and so far this is our favourite place to stay.
