This all ground floor apartment is set in central Warkworth and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.St. Lawrence Rest is a ground floor apartment in central Warkworth which sleeps three people in two bedrooms. These are a double and a single room. There is also a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Outside there is free parking available on a first come, first served basis in a nearby public car park and an enclosed shared rear yard with furniture. St. Lawrence Rest is a fantastic base for those looking to relax.

Amenities: Gas central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Free parking in public car park 50 yards away on first come, first served basis. Additional parking in further free car park by riverside. Enclosed shared rear yard with furniture. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shops and pubs 1 mins walk. Note: There is one step to access the property and one step into the rear yard. Please note: You may hear church bells which sound each hour from the church opposite.

Please Note: This property now has a stone locked garage for storage of bike, paddle boards etc.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Lying in the loop of the River Coquet on the Heritage Coast, Warkworth is a picturesque village, dominated by the dramatic ruins of its 12th century castle. The history of the village and the castle are intertwined with the Percy Family who took over the castle in 1332. The Percys other home is nearby Alnwick Castle, most recently associated with Harry Potter as the film location of Hogwarts School. The main street is lined with Georgian and early Victorian houses and there is an exceptional range of galleries, antiques shops, a village shop/Post Office, pubs, restaurants and gift shops to suit all tastes.
