“Perfect Hideaway.” Perfect couple hideaway for the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub, the views, and the fireplace. It was very warm and inviting. Fully stocked kitchen so it was nice to be able to cook and enjoy staying in. 15 minutes to Gatlinburg and 15 to Pigeon Forge. Highly recommend!!

“Perfect place to get away from it all.” Cozy, comfortable, & clean cabin. Plenty of things to do without leaving the cabin, or within a short drive (pool). If you are looking to get away from the hustle & bustle, this is a perfect place. Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the pond or pool much. But the hot tub & pool table got plenty of use! The kids loved it and are already asking when we can go back!

“Perfect pet-friendly cabin with style and a view!” Location is great. Easy to find and get to. Few minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Has all the accomodations for a perfect, relaxing weekend. Spectacular view of the mountains from the front door/inside the cabin/on the deck. Hot tub worked wonders for relaxing and recuperating. “Beautiful cabin and view” The drive to the cabin was fairly easy since the road is paved. However, the turn in to the private drive was tricky for our Chrysler Town and Country minivan. We couldn't make it in one turn and had to stop and backup a little then put it back in drive to make the turn. Also, any time we left the cabin we had to backup and put it back in drive a couple of times before we could get turned around. Smaller vehicles will probably not have this problem. The cabin is beautiful with all the large windows and so many gorgeous logs! We loved sitting out on the deck looking at the mountains and listening to the nearby creek. We wished a few more trees had been cut down, but were happy for those that had been. We understand the sun could be a problem since there are no blinds in the kitchen or living room and we had the sun in our eyes every morning. I would recommend some of the small pull down blinds for those windows. The decks are awesome and provide a ton of space, but we wish there had been more furniture on both decks (there is none on the lower level where the hot tub is). The hot tub and sauna were amazing. The upstairs guest bathtub is wonderful, as is the shower downstairs. There needs to be more bath/hand towels and washcloths in all bathrooms. I would recommend towels on the lower level specifically for use with the hot tub/sauna. We had fun playing pool and the table is in great shape. As much as we loved the cabin there was one thing that would keep us from going back...the beds. Not everyone slept well and when you are somewhere for a week rest is important. We realize bed preferences are very individualized and others may find them more comfortable than we did. Lastly, the reservation process and picking up/returning keys was very easy.

“Awe Inspired!” The cabin was wonderful. The Bison feeding was so much fun ,one of the Alpha males had such an assured look in his eyes it was almost regal. The bison burgers were to die first! While in the hotbed which is really nice BTW, we looked up and the sky looked like God himself filled the entire sky thick with glitter that's how many stars there were.When my dog went out here came the grey mini pony and my dog licked it's nose, I think they wanted to elope....LOL The Mtn Goats & Liamas were fun as well. We couldn't remember the last time we were so relaxed. We love Bison Overlook Lodge & we will be back!

“Perfect Peaceful Spot on the River” Jack and Christy were great. We briefly mentioned we were “getting away” for our anniversary and they had champagne and a lovely card waiting for us. We travelled to the area to visit Biltmore, which is a must see. The cabin is about 25 mins. away from Biltmore and is a perfect spot to enjoy peace and quiet and enjoy a little nature. We sat by a fire in the evening, listening to the river rumble and were able to see a deer come to the river as well as ducks and an Osprey glide between the trees. It’s only 5 mins. from I-40 but you feel like you miles and miles away from anyone. Jack and Chrsty, thanks again for your hospitality. Your beautiful cabin and attention to detail throughout made our anniversary one that we’ll remember for a long time. Oh- and the frosty beer mugs in the freezer were much appreciated.

“Beautiful, clean home in a perfect setting!” My husband, two year old daughter, dog and I just returned from a five night stay at Red Run Cabin. The home, although nothing fancy, was beautiful and well kept. We generally always stay in cabins or condos when we travel and this was by far the cleanest rental we've stayed in. It is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, with the lake right across the street with easy "beach" access. Our ten year old nephew who lives in the area and came to visit loved the game room with bumper pool and fooseball. We also made use of the plentiful board games available and watched several of the multitude of older movies to choose from when it was raining. Our family loved grilling out with us (charcoal and propane provided) and roasting smores over the firepit. My husband and I spent every night relaxing in the hot tub after our toddler and dog had settled in for the night. The home does not have air conditioning (which I believe is common for the area) but plenty of fans that allowed us to stay fairly comfortable in the Springtime mid 70's weather. The kitchen was equipped very well, although it may be time to invest in some new knives. John, the owner, was a very kind and patient and you can tell he takes great pride in his rentals. Whenever we come this way again, we will definitely return to Red Run Cabin.

“The perfect solution!” This was a perfect location for our family gathering. “Beautiful, extremely comfortable, would go back again!!!” My family and I stayed for 8 days and could not have asked for a more comfortable, clean well-built cabin to spend our vacation. The views were beautiful especially the sunrise in the morning over the deck. There were six of us, all adults, and the house was large enough that we all had our own space when needed. We were close to trout fishing, zip lining and water rafting. One of the things that stood out to me was the quality of the furnishings from the bedding, linens to all of the kitchen ware. The whole cabin has been decorated with taste and quality. My family enjoyed the hot tub every night. We grilled on the deck, made smores over the fire pit. It was truly a wonderful vacation that was made even more memorable by the cabin itself. I would definitely go back again and hope to!!!

“Clean and comfortable” Great cabin and very comfortable. Owners were very pleasant and prompt in their replies. The cabin itself was very nice and the beds were comfortable. Was disappointed the fireplace was completely cosmetic and had no actual flame. Though the location was fantastic, I was not too thrilled with where the cabin was. I was unaware it was located in what felt like an HOA. All the cabins were on top of each other and it felt more like a neighborhood home. The trip was great though and we appreciate the kindness shown by the owners.

“Bear Creek was the perfect family getaway for us!” We stayed in Bear Creek for 5 nights and enjoyed every single minute of our vacation. The cabin is beautiful, with lots of room for our family of three. It was definitely off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for. We very much enjoyed the wrap around deck and hot tub. We spent every morning on the deck relaxing and drinking coffee before going into town to tube in Helen or hike to Anna Ruby Falls. It was also just a short drive to Dahlonega for the gold mine tour and some antiquing. It was an awesome vacation and we recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a nice, quiet vacation spot.

“Escape” This rental was all and everything that the crowd could want, everything from a lg size grill to ample wine glasses, above excellent HOT TUB. We had a pool table and unlimited PAcMAN. The Beds were so comfortable. There was no need to have to pack the house it was already there. Bring clothes toothbrush and food and your set. Our only problem was not long enough. We have rented cabins every year at this time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and I can say I have never felt as though the company and owner were at the reach of a phone call after checking in like this time. I have already told work friends and hoping to get another trip together soon at same cabin, just need a few more days this time.
