CHARACTER COTTAGE WITH SUPERB SEA VIEWS IN PREMIER RESIDENTIAL ROADOld Saltys holiday cottage is a 19th century former coach house sitting in an elevated position set high above the seaside resort of Westward Ho! Offering great views down to the long sandy beach of Bideford Bay across the Torridge estuary, towards Saunton and Baggy Point. Some aspects look out towards Lundy Island. Ideally placed for strolling to the beach with your bucket and spade or enjoying a Devon cream tea at The Rockpool Cafe in the village, all the amenities are just a 10 minute walk away (please note there are steep hills).Perfect for touring North Devon, the market town of Bideford is a 5 minutes' drive and is home to the Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. Other attractions well worth a visit include Clovelly, with its cobbled street, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and much more. Walkers will be spoilt with some of Devon's best cliff-top walks from the village as well as Northam Burrows, which is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy the views from the balcony with a glass of wine or stroll into the village for a drink and a meal from a choice of venues.The light and airy accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: situated on the first floor,1 king-size and 1 bunk bedroom. 1 twin situated on the ground floor accessed by a short flight of steps. Bathroom: bath with WC. Shower room: with WC. Lounge: with TV/DVD and french doors out to balcony with superb sea views. Kitchen/diner: with electric cooker, gas hob, washing machine, fridge, separate freezer, microwave and CD/radio with iPod dock. Outside: large, raised decked area with garden furniture and BBQ with wooden steps leading down to a lawn area, all having sea views. Amenities: private driveway with parking for 2 vehicles (also provides access to neighbouring property). Bed linen and duvets are included plus there's a few extra blankets in the wardrobes, towels, electric and central heating included. There is a baby travel cot, highchair and stair safety gate under the stairs. Regret no smoking. Well behaved Pets Welcome. Stairgate provided. How do damage deposits work?

If Adrian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
