Location, location, location!
Our luxurious holiday home 'Stay' at Widemouth Bay is situated in Madeira Drive, being a quiet, no-through road directly opposite the main entrance to the beach.
Ideally situated in this spectacular coastal village, Madeira Drive is the closest road to the beach, the local stores and the award-winning Bay View Inn.
Being well-appointed and meticulously maintained, Stay is a modern bungalow of spacious proportions that accommodates up to 7 people in comfort.
The property is fitted-out to a high standard and its open-plan living space keeps its guests united during their stay.
The bright, sunny lounge contains comfortable leather sofas, and entertainment is provided by way of a large Smart TV, DVD player and Wii console, supported by a good selection of family orientated movies and games.
There's a CD player with iPod dock for those wanting to bring their own music, and high-speed Fibre wireless broadband throughout.
The modern high-gloss kitchen is well appointed with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle, along with a full compliment of cooking pans and utensils.
The adjacent utility room features a supersize sink with spray tap for washing out your beach gear, together with a washing machine, tumble dryer and drying racks.
For those arriving with little ones, Stay is equipped with a travel cot and bedding, high-chair, plastic crockery / cutlery and baby monitor to save you bringing those bulky yet essential items with you.
Stay has 3 comfortable bedrooms.
The south-facing master bedroom is home to a comfortable Super King size bed, with crisp white Egyptian cotton linen and sliding doors that lead out onto the patio area. It has its own ensuite bathroom with high-pressure shower.
The master bedroom is also furnished with a widescreen TV.
Bedroom 2 has twin 3' beds, and bedroom 3 contains sturdy 3' bunk-beds in addition to a separate 3' bed. Again all beds are dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton linen.
A full compliment of towels (including beach towels) are provided.
Facing directly south, Stay's private and fully enclosed rear garden is a perfect sun-trap. Its sizeable patio and upper deck area make for some great outdoor living, with a range of outdoor furniture and gas BBQ being provided.
Stay has its own off-road parking area for 2 vehicles, with further kerb-side parking being available in front of the property. Both the parking area and front of the property are covered by CCTV. There are no cameras within the property, nor any coverage to the sides or rear of the property to spoil your privacy.
Stay is equipped with a 7kW electric vehicle charger that can be enabled for a pre-paid supplement of £10 for each night of your booking.

“Great location”
Excellent house in a great location, had everything you could need for a lovely break by the coast. Can’t fault the booking process and the information and contact from the owners. Will definitely be booking to go here again soon !!

“Absolutely perfect”
Our stay here was perfect and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Emma was quick and helpful to reply to my emails. The bungalow itself is amazing and certainly has the wow factor. It's been refurbished to a high standard, extremely clean and very comfortable. It's also very well equipped. Fantastic location. Just 2 minutes from a lovely beach, which we were lucky enough to watch a couple of stunning sunsets from. Plenty within driving distance too. We visited Bude and Boscastle. We definitely hope to return as I think there is still plenty for us to do. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

“Outstanding”
A well equipped holiday home in a superb location, five minutes from Widemouth Bay and wonderful walks. Clean crisp linen, an abundance of towels and a well kitted out kitchen. Everything you for a wonderful break away. Home from home. Lovely neighbourhood and excellent shops all superbly local and accessible. Don’t miss the fresh fish store on the bay-wonderful! All in all a lovely place to stay and the owners communication is outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Response from the owner Our sincere apologies that your booking had to be cancelled. Stay is advertised on 3 online platforms, all of which synchronise their calendars which should make double-booking impossible. Somehow this has happened (the first time in 6 years of letting Stay) and on the basis that we can not accommodate 2 parties simultaneously, we felt it right to retain the first booking. Acting as an intermediary agent, Holiday Lettings / Tripadvisor do not provide us with contact details of our guests until their holiday starts, so this has been our first opportunity to make contact with you. We do understand the inconvenience and disappointment this must have caused, and invite you to contact us to discuss a discounted booking in the future. Apologies again.
