Description

Widemouth Waves is a recently refurbished, cosy 2 bed chalet situated in a picturesque area. The chalet consists of double and twin bedrooms, family bathroom with shower, central heating. There is a small patio with outside dining area. Pets are welcome. Bed linen and towels are provided. Travel cot available. Hairdryer, TV/DVD combo.

Free parking is available and there is a footpath down to nearby Widemouth Bay beach.

“Very Pleasant Stay”

The chalet was very nicely presented and spotlessly clean. Certainly no smell of dog noted by some earlier reviews. The holiday village was quiet with no rowdy visitors in other chalets. Glimpses of the sea from the chalet but a spectacular view of Widemouth Bay from just around the corner where we witnessed the sun setting over the sea. The owner Deb was very friendly amd helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation.

“Smelly”

Place was clean but had awful smell of dogs and bed linen was old and covered in dog hairs. I did contact the owner and she provided some more old duvet covers and some air fresheners and carpet cleaner , She asked for advise I suggested she gets rid of the carpet as that s what smelt real bad , I asked if she had other complaints about the smell she said she had had a few . The complex was closed due to covid but no reflection on a reduced price as no facilities . Shame as was a good base and close to beach

“Relaxing Weekend”

Quiet weekend in Widemouth Bay. Lovely weather & comfortable accommodation. Chalet very clean with modern kitchen & bathroom - shower was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Dog enjoyed walks around area. Plenty of places nearby to visit - Bude & Boscastle delightful. Widemouth chalets were perfect at this time for me but when covid restrictions lifted I wouldn't want to stay there as bar/disco/pool and children facilities would make Widemouth Waves not somewhere I would stay.

“Lovely pet friendly stay”

Very pleasant stay, very welcoming with fresh milk , tea and biscuits on arrival. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, my husband, myself and our golden retiever were very at home here.
