Beautifully presented warm, cosy cottage

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in October 2008

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was well equipped, very well presented, warm and cosy. The surrounding countryside and beaches are stunning. The only slight thing we were not aware of was the proximity to the A!. Although that was great for travelling around the area, it was rather noisy from about 6am onwards with all the commuter and work traffic. It did not spoil our holiday but …

FINE

Left on Dec 03, 2009 for a stay in October 2009

The cottage was up to our expectations in all but one item. The toilets took too long to flush after use, even though there were two. Both took up to 1/4 hour to be ready for the next person.

We were warned that the Aga cooker was slow, so it was no suprise that our meals tended to be after their alotted time.

Overall though we would return in the future.

A BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE IN A SUPERB LOCATION

Left on Dec 18, 2009 for a stay in July 2009

When we arrived at the cottage it exceeded our expectations. It was clean and so welcoming with complimentary bottle of wine, biscuits and gorgeous lillies to welcome us. The decor was so lovely and every room was luxury. The location was wonderful and we had an amazing holiday.

Thank you so much. Highly recommend it.

A little gem

Left on Aug 24, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We can't recommend the Old Byre highly enough. The house was beautifully decorated throughout, spotlessly clean and it had everything you would ever need, a real home from home. It was ideally situated to visit the lovely Northumbria coastline and villages. It was approx 15 mins from Alnwick, Bamburgh and beaches. We will definitely go back.

A delightful home from home

Left on Dec 02, 2009 for a stay in June 2009

We had difficulty in the past finding a comfortable cottage for two, so decided to look at properties for four, and we were not disappointed. Stable cottage was delightful, well equipped, and superbly located for both the Northumberland coast and countryside.

We have already recommended this property to our children, all now married with young families, and would have no hesitation in sending …

Cosy Northumbrian Cottage

Left on Sep 30, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We found this cottage very cosy and suitable for our purposes. Wooler is a very suitable base to do this from and we had a pleasant stay at Whitsun View. There was room for 4 and our son and his girlfriend spent two nights with us as well…
