Description

Three Cows Crossing is nestled in the gorgeous Yarramalong Valley approximately 11/2 hours north of Sydney. The lovely Ebenezer Cottage sits in an idealic setting to explore and relax. The cottage is built on the spot that was once the home to one of the earliest pioneers in the area who established a sawmill on the property in the late 1800s. Owned by the one family for 150 years this magnificent property has been lovingly brought back to life by a new generation of Millers.

Three Cows Crossing is a working property. The cottage and surrounds are exclusive for guest use.

The cottage is the perfect escape any time of year. Two rooms that consist of a Queen bed and a bunk room (4 beds) are off the main living areas, there is a main bathroom and extra toilet . Upstairs has a Queen bed with ensuite. The cottage sleeps eight people. Freshly laundered linen, fluffy towels and handmade soaps are provided. The living area is an intimate space for you and your friends, play cards, scrabble or maybe watch a movie. The fireplace is set up with kindling and there is plenty of firewood to set you up for a cosy winter night.

The fully equipped kitchen has brand new appliances. Also provided is a rice cooker, blender, coffee machine, and plenty of pots and pans. The pantry is stocked with olive oil, salt/pepper, sugar/tea and coffee.

For the kids there is an in-ground trampoline, basketball hoop, rope swing, cows to feed and bushland to explore.

The Ourimbah State forest is an extension of our backyard, you can spend hours exploring the native bushland straight through the gate at the back of the property on foot, bike or horse.

Sit on the verandah and enjoy the views or take a stroll down the back of the property and listen to the bellbirds, check out the 100 yr old dam and nashi pear trees.

Out the front gate is the starting point to many of Central Coasts most scenic drives and bike rides. Turn right for an adrenaline rush at nearby Treetops Adventure Park, there is also the petting zoo at the Amazement Farm. Visit historic Barnabas Church and the historical Wollombi where the famous Hunter wine region begins.

Yarramalong Valley is the perfect place to rewind and just BE.
