Description
This small, charming historical wooden house is situated with a beautiful view over rice fields. Located on the edge of a small village, it offers a perfect mix of living in tropical nature with fast access to the city center of Yogyakarta.
Rumah Gladak - this is how the house is historically named - has originally been used to store and dry rice grains. We placed this sweet little house in a nice spot of our land with a vast view over the rice fields. Our land is situated around 8 km South from the city of Yogyakarta.
We offer breakfast, prepared by our staff. We also arrange delivery of traditional food from the village for lunch and dinner.
For breakfast, you can choose among a variety of Western and Indonesian meals: bread and eggs, muesli, oatmeal, rice porridge, Nasi Goreng (fried rice). Every breakfast is served with tea or coffee and a selection of tropical fruits.
MASSAGE
We arrange massage for guests by massage therapists from the village. On request, our staff is making an apointment for a massage.
YOGA
We offer private Yoga classes in our newly built Yoga Studio, situation on our land.
COMMUNICATION
We offer a mobile phone with an Indonesian SIM card, so guests can arrange appointments and tours.
LAUNDRY
There is a laundry service based on your needs.
Next to Rumah Gladak, under the shade of bamboo and banana trees is a comfortable wood-carved day bed with view to the fish pond - the perfect place for resting, reading, writing. From our land, you can directly start walking or jogging through the rice fields.
We just newly built a place for Meditation and Yoga, constructed from a former stall for cows, now converted into a small studio for movement and meditation practice. It is equipped with Yoga mats for your own personal practice.

To explore the area further, we can offer you bicycles to rent (25.000 rp/day), a motorbike (Scoopy) for rent (60.000 rp/day) and we can as well organize a driver with a car. We can also help you organize a driver with a car to make day trips. During high season, it is advisable to let us know before your arrival if you need a driver, since we can not guarantee to find a driver available.
