Description

A fully detached three bedroom villa with own private pool and garden, situated in the rural area of the southern village of Zurrieq. This luxury-end property features five star finishing within an eco friendly structure that maintains harmony with its surroundings, taking full advantage of the beauty and serenity of the area. The villa is immersed in typical Maltese countryside with breathtaking sea and countryside views overlooking the Wied Babu Valley, Hagar Qim temples, extending up to the silent city of Mdina, Rabat, Mosta Dome, Valletta and St. Julians. It is a perfect location to explore the beauty of the southern coast with its main feature being the picturesque Blue Grotto which is only a 30 minute walk from the property. Unique Ghar Lapsi is also a 15 minute drive away from the Villa.

Comfort was not spared in its elegant furnishings. On entering the property through a private drive-in (which can easily hold 3 cars), you will find yourself in the midst of the property, with its iconic pool which is accessed with a ladder (measuring 5.1m x 10.7m and 1.42m deep), Sauna, BBQ, outside dining facilities and surrounding garden which offers breathtaking views of its surroundings. An outside bathroom adds comfort when relaxing by the pool.

Inside the villa, you are welcomed in an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, and three bedrooms.

The fully equipped kitchen, which is built in tastefully solid wood furniture, is an ideal place to prepare a nice meal. It overlooks the pool area and benefits from a welcoming natural light. It enjoys an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and a dishwasher. The dining table is large enough to entertain a group of 8 persons.

The living area enjoys generous seating space to have some quality time with your family or friends. The sofa can accomodate an additional 2 persons by using the sofa bed. This area enjoys a flat screen TV with digital TV Channels, a Playstation 3 with an integrated Blu-ray DVD player.

A guest WC is also available with a single washbasin and a WC.

All three bedrooms surround the side of the open plan and each enjoys its own ensuite. They all benefit from natural light and overlooks the surrounding garden.

The First bedroom has a double bed, dressing table and a spacious wardrobe and a flat screen TV with digital channels. It also enjoys an ensuite which is equipped with a hydro massage bath, shower, WC and a vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The Second bedroom also enjoys a double bed and a large wardrobe. Its ensuite is equipped with a spacious shower, WC and vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The Third bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and a desk. It also has a Flat screen TV with digital channels. Its ensuite has a shower, WC and a vanity unit with a single washbasin.

The property is fully air conditioned and offers free WIFI. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are also available.

The pricing of the villa includes bed linen, 2 towels per person (one small and one large) and a pool towel per person. It also includes weekly housekeeping including change of linen.

For our younger guests we offer free cots and high chairs which needs to be booked in advanced.

Getting around

To get to the villa one can hire a car or airport transfers from the airport. We can assist in both bookings. One must drive to Mellieha. Once entering Mellieha through Triq il-kbira (one will pass Valyou supermarket and Maypole confectionery), one must take the road on the right called Triq Ghajn Zejtuna. This is a downhill bendy road. When the bends finish one must take the first road on the left which is where the villas are found at the beginning of the road on the right hand side. Ample parking on the street is available however not guaranteed.

Interaction with guest

We believe in privacy to our guests. Therefore we try not intrude during the stay. However pool boy comes over to the villa twice a week whilst cleaners come to the villa once a week. We usually advise guests beforehand when our staff will visit the villa in order to ensure comfort to our guests. We are however a phone call away should you need any information or help.

Great Villa Great location. Would book with Baldacchino again. Could do with more English TV being accessible in the colder months. Some instructions for the oven/cooker/air-conditioner would be help… More
