Luxury medieval farmhouse with stunning views down the valleys into Bagni di Lucca, Sleeps 5. Two doubles one single, benefits from very large lounge area and kitchen, outside eating areas, pizza oven. Located in a small hamlet with very popular bar and restaurant. Shops and amenities 10 minutes by car. Great spot to use as a base for exploring the region, beach and skiing both 45 minutes drive. We offer fully serviced, self catering accommodation with daily cleaning and breakfast provided if required. The hosts are nearby on hand for help and assistance.Located in the hillside village of Granaiola overlooking the town of Bagni di Lucca, La Balconata Guest house offers everything you would expect from a rural retreat. On the edge of the Garfagnana national Park its the ideal getaway for anyone wishing to discover this hidden gem in the northern hills of Tuscany. The perfect base for touring by bike or car with walking routes throughout the vicinity as well as a host of other activities locally. The Spa town of Bagni di Lucca with shops, bars and restaurants is a 10 minute drive, with the historic town of Lucca a further 25 minutes. This Traditional stone built farmhouse is set over three floors, Three generous bedrooms on the top floor with two bathrooms, a large lounge area with open fire and ample comfortable seating for all. On the ground floor there is a beautiful, large, well equipped kitchen and dining room with access to the gardens, outside seating and patio areas. To top it all there are fantastic views from all the balconies and terraced garden.
