“Tuscany at its very best” We arrived at night so it was dark outside, it wasn't until we woke up in the morning and thought wow!! the location of this b&b; is incredible, i couldn't believe our luck. Kevan was extremely hospitable and speaks fluent English, Spanish and Italian which helps when you don't know the area too well. He made us feel very welcome. There is an amazing restaurant 2-min walk from the house by the car park. The house is clean, comfortable and feels like home. Plenty of space and privacy. We want to visit again maybe next year

“Family Memories” Our stay was everything we expected and more. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for our family of 8 (4 adults & 4 teenagers). There was plenty of room for everyone, including 3 different tables where we could all dine together. We cooked most nights and had everything we needed. We loved having a full-size refrigerator and a washing machine. The location was very convenient to grocery shopping and the train station for our day trips. The scenery was incredible and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. They gave us very helpful information on the area and arranged a wonderful chef for an evening. It is obvious the Della Santa family takes great pride in their property and wants to make sure their guests are happy and have everything they need. We highly recommend this property for a memorable vacation.

“We had a great stay” The location of the apartment across from a park was lovely and inviting. What stood out for us was the wonderful suggestions we received from the owners. We used the apartment as a base to get to well-known spots like Cinque Terre, Lucca and Pisa, but what we truly loved was our visits to places we never would have discovered on our own such as Pietrasanta and Vinci. The 2 bedroom apartment while small was adequate for the 3 of us and would work for 4 as well. It was clean and neat. The owners were very kind and helpful from our first correspondence to our leaving. It is reasonably priced.

“An excellent place we will surely consider to go back to.” The vicinity of Luca is great in many ways, as is the house. It is clear why the owners spend considerable time there and the house shows all the comfort and quality level that justifies that. It is great to experience that same quality as guests. The family that takes care of the place gave us a most friendly reception and provided all the help we could need, including free access to the Soccer Champion TV channels and very nice local products. We can surely recommend this lovely place at this great location. Like everywhere in Toscany do bring insect repellents.

“Unforgettable vacation at It Trebbio” We rented Il Trebbio for 12 days in September. We were very pleased with the accommodations. All rooms were spacious, well furnished, and immaculately clean. The views of Barga, the valley below and the mountains across were spectacular. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. We also appreciated the small gestures offered upon our arrival such as a basket of fresh fruits and vegetables and a bottle of wine, and as we arrived late, hungry, and unfamiliar with the area, we were given escort to a local restaurant. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend a week or a season in this wonderful area of Tuscany aldo Magri

“picturesque villa with gorgeous views” We were a large group of 9 adults 2 toddlers and a baby from The Netherlands and we spent a great week in this beautiful house located on top of a hill overlooking the Tuscan hills. The home owners Celia and Enzo are the kindest people there are. The house is very big, clean and well maintained. The pool is a great asset to this place with plenty of chairs. The little village of Benabbio is a short walk away from the house. In the morning I walked along a shepard's path amidst the olive trees to collect the bread I had ordered the day before. For other groceries you can go to Bagni di Lucca which lies directly down the hill. There are a lot of interesting places to visit. I liked Lucca best. We also went to the beach 2 times. It is more than an hour's drive but well worth the visit. All in all, a great week for all of us, and I can recommend this place to any company.

Perfect location in spacious, comfortable apartment

We stayed 8 days and used Lucca as our base to explore nearby hill towns. The apartment is an easy walk into Lucca, has parking and is fully equipped to be a very comfortable home away from home. Anna had been a responsive host from booking and throughout our stay. The shower is wonderful, the bed great, and everything is sparkly clean. There is outdoor space and it is very quiet. My family of 6 stayed here for one week in July. Signore Bianchi, his wife and daughter (Elly), were all incredibly hospitable and inviting in allowing us in their home. We were welcomed with a very thorough tour of the home accompanied by a nice bottle of prosecco and fresh fruit! The home itself is comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the rooftop deck to enjoy the warm Viareggio evenings. Fabulous holiday

Abbacca –la is set atop a beautiful, steep sided valley and is just 20 minutes out from Lucca. Views to the mountains from the house are truly stunning. The apartments are well equipped and very comfortable. Lella is a perfect host, eager to help but not at all intrusive. Having read all the previous reviews we were beginning to doubt whether it would live up to expectation, but it did! It was easy to explore nearby Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the coast. We loved it, our teenage girls loved it and my elderly in laws had a wonderful time. Lella cooked a delicious meal for them while the younger members of the family headed into Lucca for one of the Summer Festival Concerts. What a wonderful place to spend a week. … see more
