This house is awesome. The pictures don't do it justice. The landscaping is more mature now and it looks like a tropical paradise. There were eight of us stayed here for two weeks and there was lots of room for us all, whether working in the huge kitchen, eating at the table inside or out, or just lounging on the patio. We all had private bathrooms plus there's a couple more. We spent many hours researching rental properties before we settled on Casa Ricardo's and it turned out to be one of the nicest houses we saw as we walked the quiet beaches daily. The caretaker was very helpful and did what he could to make our stay most enjoyable. It's located close to Progreso and Chicxulub where you can find lots of great restaurants, shopping, large markets, laundromats, grocery stores, etc. It's also not far from Merida if you enjoy checking out the city side of life in Mexico. There are lots of Mayan ruin sites not far away, cenotes, and a flamingo sanctuary. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would gladly return to this area and property in the future.
