Getting around

The Cocoa Beach Trolley. Space Coast Area Transit (SCAT) provides trolley service through Cocoa Beach. All transit buses are wheelchair lift equipped. They also accommodate bikes and surfboards at no additional charge. There is public bus service in Brevard County, including two routes in Cocoa Beach. Route 9 runs north and south along Atlantic Avenue. Probably the best way to get around Cocoa Beach and enjoy all the sights is on a bike or by foot. Safely travel by bike on our many bike lanes available alongside major roads. Cocoa Beach is also very friendly to pedestrians with excellent sidewalks. This allows you to take your time, stop when you see something of interest and get some exercise at the same time.

Interaction with guest

Once your reservation is confirmed e.g. Total guest count, desired length of stay with us, lease details, etc you will be provided access to our self entry lock box for self check-in. I live a short 50 minutes away in Orlando and have been renting our second home on the beach to friends and visitors alike. Our live in manager and his family reside next door to us. Our condo is completely expanded and truly unlike any other at The Sandcastles. We only ask that it be treated well. You will be pleasantly surprised ! We prefer a relaxed welcome and stay policy with our visitors. I am always available if needed.

NO PETS ALLOWED without prior approval We have laundry facilities as well as detergent, cleaners, etc. for kitchen use. Please use them. Checkout times allow for no more than 10 minute grace period without prior approval.

I can post the ongoing text and telephone communications between you and I that will show exactly how much we communicated. Our initial communication dates back to before your security deposit was received on April the 28th 2015. I explained to you in detail in many chats with you that our condo is impeccably kept and we want to keep it that way. I apologize if you felt stressed by being asked to start some of your laundry. Our condo is fully furnished and with at least 25 linens and beach towels available for use. We do ask for a little help as this is not a hotel but a second home. I never asked you to complete the laundry. Thank you though. Lastly, I exhibited patience working with you on the details of your payment choice and accompanying delays. I also agreed and answered promptly your evening texted request for later checkout. I honored your request for your late checkout time of 10:30 a.m. That was the best we could do on that day since we had new tenants arriving same afternoon. Low season offers more flexibility for late checkout but not so much in June or July. I would love to have you and your family visit with us again. Warmest Regards, Steven
