Great for large groups up to 14 people, there's plenty of room for play, peace, and parking. Beautiful ocean view from the top floors of this Caribbean conch style Main House with adjacent Guest House situated on 1.6 acres on MM21 in the Florida Keys.
There's a pool with spill-over spa, BBQ, hammock, patio swing, climbing dome for kids, basketball hoop and plenty of lounges for sunbathing or hanging out after a day of fishing or sightseeing.

We are about 50 feet from the ocean and in a quiet neighborhood. It's a 20 minute drive south to downtown Key West or a 20 minute drive north to Bahia Honda state park, where the best local beaches are. Bahia Honda beaches have clean, beautiful sand. You can wade out quite far on the Atlantic side so it's safer for smaller children. You can rent canoes, kayaks, do a snorkel tour to Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary, hike, picnic, and bird watch.
Cudjoe Gardens Marina is 0.8 miles away and has fishing, snorkeling, boat rentals available. If you bring a boat, we pay your dockage fee up to 24'.
There are plenty of boat rentals on Summerland and Big Pine Key.
We are at Mile Marker 21. There is public transit (see www.kwtransit.com) but most of our guests drive down in their own vehicles or arrange rental vehicles.
Our property is best suited for large families. Parents like the gated/fenced safety and play things for kids, while they can relax and even access WiFi anywhere near the houses.

We went to Florida for a family vacation to celebrate our Parent's 40th wedding anniversary. Great house for a family get together. The guest house is great for extra privacy. Everything went very smooth with the owners as well. Great location in that you can be to Key West in 20-30 minutes and the beach in 15 minutes.

Our family of adults, teenager and 5 small ones had a great time at Cudjoe key. When we arrived the pool was pretty dirty and we ended up spending three hours cleaning it ourselves so I suggest you make sure owners have it cleaned. Kind of a no brainer - renters coming better have a clean pool - but we did not let it ruin our vacation. A pool guy did come on Thursday but not much for him to do. The house was great. We had the doors to the porch area open our entire stay with view of the ocean. We used the fire pit almost every night - you can get firewood at WinDixie stores. The house is actually not as prestine as in the photos but that suited us fine as we were more relaxed in a house that actually looked 'lived in', especially witht he little ones running around. Recommend trying the Boondocks Grille north of Cudjoe. We would definitely rent again.

I'm really sorry about the pool. I'm very upset that the person who was supposed to clean the pool didn't. I'm going down now, personally, every weekend to make sure things are clean and orderly for tenant's arrival.

Our party of three families with children ranging from 2 to 14 years old had plenty of space to spread out in the main house and guest apartment. The heated pool & hot tub were of course the favorite spot, but the deck was close second for the beautiful water view. Evenings were spent roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The owner/managers are friendly, attentive and helpful.

Great value for a large group for the area. Bedrooms are good sized, covered deck is large and is where we spent most of our time. Pool and grounds are large. Guest House is good sized as well. Property is well maintained. While the location is about 20-25 min from Key West, it is quiet and welcoming at day's end. Kitchen has everything you will need.

Cynthia was a very nice lady to deal with when renting a vacation home. The home was very nice, clean, well taken care of and accommodated all of our guests. We got married in the Keyes and the pool and hot tub was the biggest hit! Cynthia even helped point me in the right direction for venues as well as places for receptions.
We had a wonderful time and promptly received our security deposit back which is always a plus!

Our family of ten had a week in Paradise! The Keys are beautiful, but the best part was staying at the White Ibis Inn. Cynthia ahmed, the owner, was a delight to work with. She was always prompt and honest in her replies to our questions.
When we arrived at the White Ibis Inn, we were so pleased with the lovely and well maintained grounds The heated pool and hot tub were a big hit for all ages (7 yrs to 73 yrs old).
We were warmly greeted by Jeri, the on site manager and housekeeper. The inside of the house was very clean with added touches that made it seemed as if we were staying with friends instead of renting a property.
There was plenty of room with four bedrooms and two baths in the main house for eight of us. The guest house was a great addition with a bedroom, bath and kitchen for my son and his wife.
If you are going to Key West (about 25 mins away) the White Ibis Inn is a wonderful option to an impersonal hotel or resort!
What I liked least was leaving!! -

We completely enjoyed our stay at the White Ibis Inn. There was a bit of a problem with the pool heating but the caretakers Jeri and James were right on top of getting things going. The weather the first two days were chilly! So the house could use a few more space heaters. Although they say it hasn't been that cold in 33 years so I doubt space heaters would be needed on a regular basis.
The house and pool house were very comfortable and provided a restful oasis after the days of sightseeing in Key West proper.
I would definitely recommend the White Ibis Inn to anyone needing a place to vacation in the Keys.
The caretakers Jeri and James were wonderful!

The White Ibis Inn is a perfect place to stay with larger groups! Both houses had absolutely everything that we could have needed. Extremely clean and lots of room for everyone to spread out when they wanted to or to just hang out together. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when staying in the keys!

Every person in our party had a great time living at the White Ibis Inn. The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated, There were plenty of linen. The kitchen was fully equipped. The next door caretaker and the management quickly responded when we had a question. I recommend the White Ibis Inn to anyone who wants to enjoy the Florida Keys in a quiet leasurely way.
Extra info: the house is about 20-25 min drive from Key West. This is not a problem because the scenery is gorgeous along the way. -

Pool play items were nice and appreciated.

Thank you for the feedback. We're getting the temperature control automated on the solar pool heater asap. I'll also get that AC unit checked out and talk to the cleaners, if they mind putting in more waste baskets.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We traveled with a group of friends, age range 45-67, and we had a great vacation stay. We spent our evenings on the porch laughing and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather. The private pool was very enjoyable. Cynthia and the Property Mgr.,Mick were wonderful to work with. The neighbor was friendly and generous with his garden produce.This is the house to rent in Cudjoe Key!! We would rent this property again if we vacation in the Key's. Lovely time was had by all!!

The house was very comfortable, great kitchen bedrooms and bath, wonderful having the private pool in your own back yard, close to everything. The Gardens, This house was perfect for our group of 7, generations of family enjoyed the beautiful setting of a house that made you feel so relaxed and comfortable. The bright decor was such a happy atmosphere. Breakfast and late night family time was enjoyed on the wonderful large porches, the pool was so refreshing on our hot afternoons and the comfortable large bedrooms were needed for restful nights.The kitchen was amazing with all the appliances and extras. We are planning another visit and family reunion next year. White Ibis Inn is where we will stay. There can not be a nicer more perfect house anywhere !! overall though a great time thanks Cindy

We took a family trip to the Keys and stayed in this beautiful home. The house was clean, the service was great, great view, 20 minutes from Key west. We had an amazing time and were very pleased with the house.
