Description
This newly rebuilt in mid-2012 teakwood house is equipped with all facilities.
In the area of over 2500 M2 is a home-cooking restaurant you also can have breakfast in our restaurant if desired.
In the "winter" season, we have plenty of organic vegetables from our own garden and our chickens provide fresh eggs.
Furthermore, we bake our own bread, croissants etc for you if required, we work exclusively with the freshest products.
For families with children we have in our Teak house a special connected rooms with sofa-bed and possibility for extra bed(s)
All the bedrooms have a minibar

Bedroom 1 “Classic” bamboo decorated en-suite bathroom and balcony,
Bedroom 2 “Studio Apartment” has bedroom en-suite bathroom with king-size bed and separated seating area with sofa-bed and balcony,
Bedroom 3 is located downstairs has twin beds and en-suite bathroom.
Kitchen
There is a small Thai Style open kitchen downstairs and the downstairs is completely open having dining table(s) and here you can relax
Location
The Teakwood House - Doi Saket Vacation Home is located in the middle or rice-fields about 14 km outside Chiang Mai town-center. The climate in this part of Thailand is nice cool nights in wintertime and nice warm in daytime, north from Chiangmai are mountains and hot springs where you can enjoy bathing and Thai massage and local Thai food and drinks.
Thailand is a country with friendly people and tasty food the location of the resort gives you plenty of possibilities to visit the northern part of Thailand, the province Chiangmai has caves and mountains up to 2500 meter high.
North of Chiangmai is Chiangrai province here you can make excursions to the Golden triangle with a boat trip to Laos and the most northern point of Thailand on the Burmese ( Myanmar ) border.
Just outside Chiangrai there are the Hill tribe people and the Mae Fah Luang gardens, N-W of the Chiangmai province and the village Fang in the Doi Mae Salong area where lots of Chinese origin people live with enormous tea plantations.
Around Fang in the Chiangmai province you will find orange and litchi plantations

“Away from the hustle and bustle.”
Max and Lha (the owners) are helpfull and welcoming people. We were collected from the train station and dropped off at the airport which did cost us money but probably a bit cheaper than a taxi and certainly easier. The house itself is situated in the back garden of their house which doesnt allow for full privacy. The accommodation was basic and tidy on par with the cost. The house is about a 20 minuet drive from Chiang Mai, you can hire a scooter from Max if it is available. Max and Lha also have travelers stay within their accommodation. The restaurant on the porch of their house serves good Thai food created by Lha at a reasonable price.

“Amazing”
Great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of a city. We had just left Bangkok and it was quite a refreshing change of scenery and quite relaxing. You are still able to get to Chiang Mai in a reasonable time. Max and Lha are extremely accommodating and they truly care about each guest and their well-being. I got food poisoning while traveling and they were more than helpful to make sure I got better. Overall experience for my friend and I was amazing. Would definitely recommend any of my friends to stay there and would also return if I was traveling through again.
