This unit was a good value, slightly dated & worn but had great

This unit was clean, slightly dated, had great beach front views & access, and was close to local restaurants. Overall a good value. The living room furniture is in need of replacement, but by no means unusable & would not prevent us from returning. We loved that it was in a more residential area; however, everything you needed or wanted was only a 5-10 minute drive away. My husband, who is not a beach lover, was able to hang out on the porch & still see us from the beach when he wanted a break. This unit also had beach chairs & several toys for our use.

Starting with the professional and courteous treatment by Laura and EIR, the entire experience was wonderful. The home was comfortable and for the most part quiet. The view from the condo was wonderful and provided a relaxing and stress free environment. Overall, a great experience and working with EIR added a great level of satisfaction to the whole vacation. Highly recommended.

Just about perfect!

We truly enjoyed our fourth visit to Emerald Isle, and this Pier-Pointe unit. We have previously stayed in two other Pier Pointe condos, and found 5-A-2 to fit so many of our needs. We travel with two small children (under the age of 4) and two grandparents. This unit provided ample space, and a wonderful closet of beach toys, sand chairs, and an umbrella (some of which could use replacing). We did not need to pack our own! In addition, the kichen was well equipped for simple cooking. The beds were comfortable, and the linens provided were in good condition. The overall unit was clean and tidy. We loved the second floor, as this allowed for an ocen view and relatively few steps to navigate with our kids. The straight boarwalk was also a perk. Our only improvement comments would include adding hangers to the closets, and possibly bath mats for the showers. In closing, we thank the owners for sharing this condo with our family! We would definitely consider a return stay!!

We HATE the pillow top mattress in the MBR. I understand that Judy thinks
that this makes it a "better" unit, but isn't mattress type really a matter of
personal choice. Shouldn't the mattress be a bit more neutral??
It is time to replace the plastic cups in this unit. There is a white film that has
built up and can't seem to be washed off.
Wish there were three stools at island -- we arrive with three children adn it
would be nice if they could all sit there.
We really appreciate the beach chairs etc . . . in the closet. Having them there
is a wonderful extra.
