We were very pleased with the Cardinal. It was everything the description said it would be! The accomodations were great. Being right on the beach is wonderful. Our family enjoyed it to the max!!!

We loved our family vacation at this house. The house was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of five. The view was breathtaking. We enjoyed coffee out on the deck every morning. If you are looking for a house close to the beach and quiet, this is the home. The kitchen is well stocked and we did cook in several days here. It was great having the washer and dryer on the same floor as the kitchen ... very convenient. The neighborhood is wonderful and friendly. The house is close to shopping and restaurants. We did not want to leave this "beach paradise". Will return to this home again. Emerald realty was very helpful and wonderful to deal with.

House was gorgeous. Have stayed here before and will again next year. House not as clean as we would have liked. Floors were dirty and grill had not been cleaned. Weather was great and we were surprised as we watched hurricanes all around us, but they had no effect on our stay. We had a great time, great weather,and our stay was very relaxing. Not long enough though. We will rent this house again if it is available.

Cardinal is a wonderful home right on the beach. Our four small children loved seeing the dolphins and surfers. It was easy for the kids to find shells and make sand castles. My husband enjoyed flying his trick kite on the beach.
The remodeled kitchen is beautiful. The kids liked the "fancy" purified water and the ice maker. The child gates were perfect. I am so glad they were installed since our last visit several years ago.
Even though the weather did not cooperate during our visit we found plenty of things to do in the vicinity. We hope to stay at Cardinal again.

This is our 3rd stay in 'Cardinal' and the best. The floor plan is perfect for us. We can stay in the top/living floor master and the kids and grandkids can stay on the second floor. We do not hear a thing! The kitchen has just been upgraded and is superbly equipped. The location is beautiful and safe. Shopping is very convenient. If you cannot have a good time here, then it will not happen anywhere. Guest ages were 2 months to 64 years. We all had a wonderful time.

The house was clean, large and well appointed - it had everything we needed
and we love to cook. Great access to the beach and in a nice community with
quick access to town and shopping. A partially covered upper deck (awning or
large table umbrella) would make this perfect. Nice beds, linens, pillows -
great wireless and TV although we didn't use it much. Would definitely stay
here again. Only minor complaint is the amount of stair climbing to access
both house and beach - the stairs from the upper deck to the lower are a bit
narrow. -

We enjoyed our stay at the beach, as in the passed years. But this year bathroom and kitchen supplies were short, like soap, towels, dish washing detergent. Every year we find it difficult yo find the right container for the recyclables.

When we reserved this home, it was supposed to be for a wedding & this home was pre-approved for this event in case it rained and we needed to have the cereomony inside. The real estate agent, Heidi, that we dealt with was more than helpful and was great at following up with our plans. Fortunately, the wedding did not take place, but we decided to keep our reservations for a great and needed vacation. The house met all of our needs for the people that stayed with us. Ages ranged from 8 years to 78 years. We have stayed at homes at Emerald Isle before, so we have had homes to compare the Cardinal to. While the Cardinal wasn't the top of homes that we have stayed at,we would definitely stay there again.
