Our service with EIR was excellant. Aloha was much bigger than it appears in the pictures. Kitchen was very well equipped. The three bathrooms were wonderful! My 6'4" brother loved the tall shower heads. The location was perfect with beautiful views of the ocean. We would have liked a gas grill at the property and maybe another TV or two, but this cottage is absolutely lovely!

The home is in need of many repairs. Two burners do not work on stove, refridgerator froze our fresh vegetables. Deck had nail pops and loose boards,carpet needs to be cleaned well or replace. Hair was in kitchen sink. Outside shower full of mold. We paid for early check in, when we got to the house the cleaning company was still there. We finally get in and the neighbors left their dogs on the deck to bark, no relaxing or enjoying the view from the deck all week. The chair in the living area was very out of place and not comfortable at all. No relaxing or naps for our young ones with not just one large barking dog but three barking dogs that seemed to bounce off all the homes in stereo. Very unfortunate to pay close to $3000.00 for a week that was not relaxing and no help from the realtor with the barking dogs.

Our early check in convenience does start at 1 p.m. Because you arrived shortly after noon, the cleaning crew did need a little more time to get the home ready for you and your family. As with pets and habits of others, we are happy to place a courtesy call to our guests, or another rental company, to make them aware of the disturbance they are causing. Aloha was a very pleasant property and time for our nationwide family to rest and relax among friends and extended families. Although it is 1/2 row off the ocean surf, you can easily smell, hear and see the breaking waves from the third story front deck. Aloha offered plenty of space for our family of 7 to stretchout. The top floor is great for gathering times of fellowship and catching up with each others lives... as well as the adjoining deck overlooking the Point. We would recommend this location to anyone with a large extended family!

Check in service excellent. Loved the house & location to public beach access. Love the quiet streets & all the deer. Possibly need another TV for this lovely house but very accommodating for us,our adult children & their significant others. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit again this year.

This is the our 3rd year in aloha and it is still a good value. Location is key because extended family usually rents 3 to 4 other house at the Point. Would like to see 2 rooms with twins and 2 with queens instead of 3 with queens. This year the place seemed dirtier than previous we had wipe down all bathroom counters, kitchen counter and the refrigerator with Clorox wipes.

The only thing I would suggest, and I hesitate to do that because this house was perfect for us, but I would like to see more TVs. Our group included persons from 25 years old to 77 years old and in between. Our viewing preferences were very different and with only one TV is was a little difficult.

Wonderful location at the end of the island. Great 2nd Row location with easy beach access. The beach here is very wide. The house itself is modern and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the beach chairs.

If you are looking for a second row house with view of the ocean and a short walk to public beach access this is the place. Home is well maintained. Set-up is ideal for families with teenage girls ... 3 full bathrooms!

The kitchen is my only concern, that is because I like to cook and look forward to cooking while on vacation. The knives are dull and the pots and pans are teflon or old. My only complaint is the cook utensils, the dishes, silverware are well stocked.

Our group of 8 totally enjoyed this home. It's our favoriate area of Emerald Isle's beach, quiet and just fantastic in every way. The home was outfitted with all the necessities. Furnished very practical, comfortable and lovely. The storage area was great too. We diffently hope to stay again next year.

My family and I have been coming to Emerald Isle for years. We usually split the expense with family friends and have never been dissapointed. However, our friends children are now college age young adults and find it difficult to schedule vacation time.
Sadly, we lost my wife to breast cancer in May of 2004. She was only 34 and we'd just celebrated our 14 mth olds first birthday in March. Our family and friends were devistated at the loss. Our friends invited us to Emerald Isle a few weeks after the funeral. It was sad being there without my wife but our beautiful memories in this placed certainly helped.
Since my girls are still young, I sacrifice finacially to keep this tradition going. Aloha was the first place that I rented on my own. I knew this had to be the place as my wife was half Hawaiian. The name was perfect! I invited my in-laws on this vacation.
The pictures did not do the house justice. The layout is fantastic. Having the master bedroom upstairs with it's own bathroom...genious. The large bedrooms below with their own bathrooms, another sign of intelligence. The multiple decks for sitting and relaxing or just "talking story" Hawaiian for chatting and reminicing. The proximity to the beach was appreciated by everyone. Although, we've stayed in bigger houses, I can't think of one that was more user friendly, better located, and so well designed. I'd buy the place if I had the money. Even in these tough economic times I'm planning to somehow get us to Emerald Isle and Aloha. I appreciate the family who has so geneously opened their home so that people like us can also have memorable family vacations. Aloha nui loa. Me ke aloha pumi hana. See y'all in July!! -

Lovely beach house. Perfect for a family vacation. Easy walking distance to beach with view of ocean. Nicely furnished. Great decks with ample, comfortable outdoor furniture. Very nice yard. Low traffic area, so good for children. We would definitely rent this house again.
