We loved your home! What a dream kitchen. Four couples came as friends and left as "beach friends forever." We enjoyed exploring the Crystal Coast and its quaint towns. Ferried to Shackleford, found beautiful shells, and saw a couple of the horses. Spent time on the pier talking to the fishermen (and women). Never tired of watching the beach and ocean from the house and porch. Thank you for arranging the sunshine for us.

It was the perfect house with the perfect location. The house was clean & fresh and had the perfect ammentities to accommodate our family group of 7 adults and 2 children from ages 9 months - 83. Thorough enjoyment for all!!!

"Just for the Fun of it" is a great place to vacation. It is much larger than it looks in the photo. We enjoyed the spacious great room. The kitchen is fabulous. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large and comfortable. The lay out of the cottage is nice and it is beautifully decorated as well. We appreciated the use of the garage for our car. This cottage is spotless. It is convenient to the shops and restaurants and there is nothing negative I can say about it. The owners spared no expense in making it a fun place to enjoy at the beach. We plan to return next year. We were delayed in arriving to pick up our keys from the EI Realty office, and as we were crossing the bridge coming into Emerald Isle, we called just before their closing time and a nice young lady graciously waited five minutes for us arrive so we could get our keys. For many years EI Realty has been outstanding in making our vacation the very best for us. Thanks.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and had a fabulous time. The house was wonderful, it had everything we needed and then some. It is obviously well taken care of and loved and it felt like being at home. We would highly recommend this house to anyone and we hope to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this home...and that's what it was, a home - not just a house. This was our first time to Emerald Isle and I couldn't ask for more. The home is beautiful and well equiped. I just can't say enough good things. Thank you to the home owners that keep everything in good shape and anticipate your every need. This was the vacation of a lifetime and we hope to return in the coming years.

Very nice home with all the amenities we need. We have stayed here 5 or 6 six times for our summer week at the beach.
Location is very convenient to all the attractions and restaurants we frequent. -

We had a wonderful time, the cottage was very clean, I inspected it carefully, the furniture was nice. The location was great. The arrangement of the cottage was nice having the master bedroom away from the other rooms ! Will try to rent again next year !

We love Emerald Isle but "Just for the Fun of It" makes it even more special. We have a family of 10 with 4 grandchildren. Our oldest grandson, now 12, took his first steps at this cottage and the youngest was only 6 weeks old on her first visit. So, it feels like coming home. The cottage is beautifully appointed and the kitchen is a dream. The panoramic view of the ocean and beach is great and binoculars are always ready for dolphin watching! A slice of heaven!

Our family stayed at "Just for the Fun of it" for 8 years. We know what to expect and are never disappointed, matter of fact there is always something new added or up-dated.When leaving our adult boys said only 51 more weeks and we will be back.

We are not sun bathers & some older family members find it hard these days to navigate the dunes, but we love the beach. We stayed indoors a lot (even though the weather was great) & enjoyed every minute. The openness of the living area & the full glass front & sides let us enjoy the beach without leaving the house. We did venture out for some front porch rocking.

We love Emerald Isle and Just for the Fun of It is an awesome beach cottage! Large open floor plan for the kitchen and recreation room area - great for large families. All amenities and plenty of space. The decor, especially wall hangings/pictures are incredible. Located very close to everything and easy access to all your needs. Least appealing...being right next to a beach access walkway - beware of losing your "spot" on the beach!

This is a great house for those with little kids and to great grandparents. The fact that it is all on one floor makes it easy to get around. The kitchen is amazing and the house is beautifully decorated. The owners did a super job in making the house welcoming, warm and comfortable. We'll be back.

We loved the comfortable furniture and bright colors. There was lots of family room to gather, and easy access to the ocean. Perfect for very young children---but teens and growups will love the short walk to restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed the great selection of books and magazines. A great vacation!

We were thrilled with "Just for the Fun of it"! We stayed over the July 4 holiday and had the perfect view of the fireworks off the pier. The house is clean, well-equipped and convenient. We would definitely love to rent it again!
