Even though the condo is not beach front the view was spectacular. It would have been nice to have keys that fit both doors and the 6A door would not close without the deadbolt. Other than that it was comfortable and roomy.

Overall we loved the Islander Beach Resort. Last year we stayed with a gulf view and this year our condo was on the side, so we didn't enjoy the view as much. Also our unit was hot usually in the afternoon.

Very nice unit. Roomy living area. Only downside is a very small kitchen and small bathrooms. If you stay in IBR 606, plan to dine out alot.

I was very impressed with how clean everything was! The only disappointment was that the tv in the guest room was VHS and not DVD. It needs to be updated.

The condo was very clean and the updated furniture and accessories made it feel more like home. I would definately stay there again! The only thing I would change would be the ventalation in the elevator. It was hot!!!

Good, but the construction dirt was very slow to be cleaned up. Crew used the carts and didn't clean them very well.

We have been vacationing in the panhandle for the last 20 plus years. The Fort Walton area has been by far the best experience so far. The place was excellent spotless, quiet, and a great view.

Although the weather was terrible, we enjoyed the condo very much. It was newly renovated and very comfortable... We spent a lot more time in it than we had hoped to!

Enjoyed my stay! Plenty of linens, kitchen a bit small, appliances all top notch! My only dissatisfier were the beds - not comfortable at all.

We have stayed at the Islander before and love the property, but we were very disappointed in 606. The kitchen should have been advertised as an efficiency - it was so small. Pool was closed most of the time. Things were broken in condo and when we called Brooks & Shorey the phone lines were down. Staff were polite but seemed to only want to sell us additional insurance. We will be back but hopefully not with Brooks & Shorey. We did love having the amenity of getting the beach service, which was nice.
