SUNSET CHALET is a Sunbathed, Stylish and well equipped home. Perfect for Honeymooners!! Panoramic Lake Tahoe views throughout!

You will be treated to incredible views of Lake Tahoe throughout the home!!

Our home is lavishly equipped overall with washer and dryer, bathroom with tub/shower combination. 2 Queen size beds (white goose down comforter) and full size sofa bed. There is a second TV in the upper bdrm . DSL added and wifi was available.

The kitchen is a full kitchen with all appliances ,dishwasher and plenty of counter space for mixing and fixing. There is a small desk with answering machine for messages. There is b...oth gas heat and a glass front wood burning stove for cozy or romantic evenings.

The living room has a large Lshaped sofa that also converts to a full sized sofa bed if needed.

The deck facing and overlooking the Lake has deck chairs, gas BBQ, and table.

The upper bedroom also offers panoramic views of sunset or sunrise over Lake Tahoe. There is a second TV in the upper bdrm . The unit has a washer /dryer .

The special appeal of the Sunset Chalet is the stunning Lake Views throughout the home. They literally invite you to just sit back, relax and gaze out the windows.

The deck facing and overlooking the Lake has gas BBQ, chairs, , table and weather permitting will be enjoyed as you soak up the sun and fresh air while the stunning views of Lake Tahoe arrest you. The views inside and out are just magnificent.

The Sunset Chalet is customized for comfort and offers many extras. White goose down comforters for a very cozy nights sleep. Automatic entry lights help with late arrivals.

The Sunset Chalet in North Lake Tahoe is located 1/2 mile to Nevada state line restaurants and casinos and 6 miles to Nortstar Ski area.

We have just altered our no pet policy to permit a small well behaved, house broken member of your family with a $10/day surcharge. However, it is important to please inform us if you want to bring along your pet.

Please note: ( In 2003 we purchased a brand new THREE bedroom , 2 bath home nearby if you wish to accommodate a larger party or the Sunset Chalet is already reserved. )

  My family and I have stayed at the Sunset Chalet in North Lake Tahoe twice in the past year. Both trips were fantastic! We absolutely love the warmth and coziness the chalet provides. The views are breathtaking from both the first and second floors. The neighborhood is quiet and clean, and the location of the chalet works well for my family's needs. There are so many little amenities already available at the chalet which is an added bonus. We hope to return again and again to this spectacular spot!

  Let's put it this way. If I'm not comfortable where I'm staying, I don't sleep well. Along with everything else, my stays at Sunset Chalet have been accompanied by wonderful and peaceful nights' sleep.
  
  Many things contribute to this; but perhaps most important - the house itself is comfortable and quiet! The setting is perfect (see photo), and the proximity of King's Beach (fast becoming my favorite town on Lake Tahoe), makes everything easily available. Not far away are some of my favorite trails in the whole Sierra, and at the end of the day, a nice swim from the nearby beach is much appreciated.
  
  And, my dog (see photo) is welcome. This is no small deal, and I'm grateful to the owners for their trust.
  
  I recommend everything about this house including the responsiveness of the owners.

  I learnt skiing in that two days,I wish be there a gain.the sunset just gorgeous! by the time you may fell the peace from the lake of Tahoe.wish you and your family enjoy it.

  Lake View - A Romantic Getaway!

  Our time at the Chalet was absolutely wonderful and having had the opportunities to stay there over the years, it's definentlay one of my favorite places to visit. My fiance is form pa and has never been to Ca or NV, so he was very excited about our trip to Lake Tahoe. We both found the Chalet to be a cozy, private and romantic setting fully stocked with all the amenities needed for our special vacation getaway. We especially fell in love with the breath taking views of the Lake which made it hard for us to leave. After spending a day on the lake and tooling around town is was so great to come back to the Chalet, light a fire, relax and enjoy the awesome sunsets. We also liked that we were only minutes from town/Kings Beach but still had the feeling of being, "away from it all”. The Sunset Chalet is where Ya'acov proposed to me this past april, 2011. ***We would differently stay there again.

  Intimate & Cozy!

  This home is just perfect for a small family, or one or two close couples. The shared bathroom is not a problem with good friends. The kitchen is amply provided, and the cozy living room has a nice view of the lake as does the loft above. My husband and I love to stay in this intimate home and enjoy all the activities that are within a 5 minute drive from the lake.

  This guest is a returning guest each year during the summer. She faithfully makes her reservations almost a year in advance to insure her next years stay at our Sunset Chalet. Her recent reccommendation to add a patio umbrella will be attended to shortly.
