No complaints here. Excellent cottage, loads of space and everything you could need. Hosts were lovely and helpful. Lots of places to visit especially if you've not been to Yorkshire before. We have but still found lots to do.

Had a fantastic time in this cottage. Perfect area for all the surrounding attractions. Lovely big rooms and the kitchen was absolutely perfect for large groups.

Very friendly and welcoming owners, found easily with Sat Nav not so easily with downloaded directions.Very spacious interior, ideal for more than one family. A little smelly from the cess pit. We were here to tour and it was perfect for that not so sure in the summer as right in the center of the farm and a lot of areas out of bounds, which is fair enough as it is a working farm, however if you had small children it could be a problem.Would certainly come back. Thank you for your review and we are pleased that you found the owners to be welcoming and that you stated you would return to 2 Pines Farm Cottages again.
The owners were surprised and disappointed to learn that you felt the “cess pit” was a little smelly. It is actually a modern sewage treatment works which was installed 2 years ago and the owners have never received any other adverse comments regarding it even in the height of Summer. Indeed, during your booking there was another party occupying their other property of 1 Pines Farm Cottages which is actually closer to the works and they found no cause to complain at all.
The owners take great pride in their properties as can be seen from the other reviews on this site and always go out of their way to be welcoming and provide spotlessly clean accommodation. Certain areas of their farm are gated off which is purely to safeguard visitors and provide a safe environment for families with children on this working farm however they offer all guests the opportunity to join them in ‘meeting’ the animals and getting to know the workings of a farm.
Spacious, quiet and well maintained; well worth the price

While the road in to the property was very rough it was worth it. The cottage is very well renovated and spacious with all the mod cons and wonderfully quiet, unless the odd moo in the morning disturbs you. The hosts were delightful.
Would certainly come again (and probably will).
